See thread title. Sick of zone spammers and idiots getting into political arguments while I'm trying text chat with a group or with guildmates. This is mmo-101 stuff. Even DCUO has it. Why don't we?

So agree. There has been some really disgusting derogatory and borderline disturbing comments as of late. Would like only see text from my guilds onl now.

I would mute three of the guilds I'm in, currently I make their chat black/grey so not to grab my eye so much.

If it's really that bad, report. Microsoft is pretty good about holding folks accountable for their behavior, in my experience. Ideally include some screen captures and let them know they can look it up on your feed when you file the report. That said, if it is just people arguing, that's not really reportable.

Console does still need chat channel selection, though. It's kind of stupid we don't have it.

Agreed. It would be nice to be able to filter out or even tab different chats. Currently the text chat is just a cluster of everyone and everything. ZOS is sadly far behind on QoL for this game.
