We're getting closer! Home can be gifted (thus bought with gold for crowns) and we can purchase directly from the crown store without being in preview.

Next - ability to purchase any home from preview! So we don't have to wait for a home to be offered - as some haven't been offered for over 2 years.

But you can’t preview a home not in the Crown store! But it would be nice if all the homes were available at least ONCE in a year... I’ve long since given up waiting for Tel Galen... :'(

Edit: I stand corrected! Having generally previewed homes through the Crown store, I forgot that you could do so by going to the location and would have assumed this feature was disabled for homes not currently available. Thank you for the info!

Yes you can. Open your world map and click on any of the home icons. Every home can be visitex and toured.

You can also ride up to the door of any home and walk in to a preview.

If it is not for sale we will not be able to buy it. There is no reason to think Zos is going to do away with limited-time offerings for homes but keep them for other items.

Because what's the point in asking ZOS to let us give them more money right?

Apparently not everyone sees the point of hey, if I want to buy Linchal manner right now, what would it harm ZOS to *not have it in the crowns store* but let me go into home preview, and buy it. Because IF the home is ever offered again, I may not have the money then.

Makes no sense to sell a house in preview and NOT list it in the crown store.

Really you are asking for limited time houses to not be limited. Being able to preview them anytime is irrelevant.

ZOS has said multiple times that the crown store does not contain everything because of code limitations. Ok fine.
If we can still enter and preview a home, it doesn't need crown store space, just the ability for us to buy it.

Did they really use that as an excuse for the very widely used sales technique of limited time offers? WOW they have a low opinion of us.

Right, lol. It's a very common high pressure sales tactic to force impulse buying cause either get it now or it may never be available again. Then when it's over, they roll out something new and OMG, you got to get this fast too before it's gone. If everything was there all the time, people would feel no pressure to buy and they'd net less sales. They do it this way cause it's effective. Believe me, if they could make more by leaving everything available all the time, they would.

This is a fallacy - thinking that everything is done to maximize whatever. If whatever software runs the crown store can't handle having everything listed, it doesn't matter if they would make more profit, still wouldn't be done. Not everything is a simple answer.

This is why I'm not asking for this to be in the crown store. As the Crown Store was JUST down for a day due to issues, I have a feeling ZOS wasn't lying about not everything able to be in there. However, if we can access a home why can't we buy it? Tel Galen is a good example: when was the last time if was offered? Same for Linchal. I'm sure there are more homes. People want to buy them, and literally can't because NO YOU CANNOT ASK CS ANYMORE. The response I've heard recently (last 6 months) has been "nope we don't do that anymore."

While I wish all the furniture packs would be available all the time, that's a legit limited offer (way too good of a deal). There is no reason a home should be unavailable for years.

That’s all well and good, but when some homes such as Tel Galen haven’t been available once, not even for a few hours, in years, please tell me how THAT is making them any money!
