Why always update EU server during day time and not night time like the NA server?

Result is the server is down all day for EU dwellers and only if we're lucky have they managed to get it up sometime late evening.
Wouldn't it make more sense to update the EU server during night time, like they do for the NA server?

Because, I imagine, that Chapter's are PUBLISHED. From my (limited) experience of intellectual property, publishing and copyrights it all has to be done simultaneously to avoid vulnerability.

There may also be technical reasons as well.

I could well be wrong though!

Because they want to publish the new content and fix bugs at the same time for everyone.
This way, there, basically, is only one live version of the game.

Because they're human beings who, if I'm not mistaken, probably generally live in US. They're already starting maintenance at 4 am, which isn't a pleasant time for anyone, and it's not necessarily "NA night time." What you're asking is that they work through their night time so you can get into a game at your prime time... It seems unreasonable.

It's a game... calm down, and remember there are people on the other side of this.

They used to do it at night, when the game first came out.

Why would they not work at night?

They demand same money from outside US players so I dont see any problems.

Why is EU server maintenance handled by NA folks? We are(EU) the most populated server across all regions and platforms, the very least they could afford to give us our own team.

The game has been out for quite some time, so I wouldn't call that a relevant argument. Perhaps they switch to early morning rollout of patches, so that people could be more readily available in case something went wrong.

You'd have to ask ZOS that, not me, but what it looks like is that they only have an NA team.

4AM EST is night time in the US.. West coast just went to sleep around those hours. I'm not asking anyone to work through the night. I'm asking the opposite. Why not work during US day time(when we're asleep in EU) so we can play the game in the day?

Because Life's priorities do not work like that in the real world - It is not performing a triple heart bypass or saving a child life it's a fantasy game that ultimately has very low priority in the great scheme of things.

no its worse.. NA maintenance is usually way shorter than eu.. so NA players lost only few hours at morning but EU players lost almost whole day
