Light weaving changes?

Since this new patch i cant light attack weave with force pulse anyone else has this problem?

    All Light, Medium, and Heavy Attacks now have a 700ms cooldown unique to their weapon configuration (Dual Wield, One Hand and Shield, etc.) rather than varying amounts between 500ms and 1 second. Cast times of Heavy Attacks have been increased or decreased to ensure their total Cast Time + Cooldown remains the same at this time.

    Grinding just make you go in circles.
    Asking ZoS for nerfs is as stupid as asking for close air support from the death star.

    EU player so cant say anything.

    Honestly with how laggy the pts server is, often for NA players too, its really hard to test changes things like this as you never know whats intentional delay and whats caused by lag.

    Only explanation I have for the stuff going on during the pts. Otherwise a bug. Check patch notes yourself search for "light attack"

    Not just force pulse, weaving any skills is completely throwing me off, it's like a minute lag/desync, feels very odd, and that was with lazy delve rotations, dread to think how it is for trial, fast rotartions... Why do they have to mess with cooldowns, why.

    I mean, if it's as zaria said, which I don't know for sure, then there is a decent chance they screw something up during the implementation of the cooldown adjustments.

    It was very disturbing on the Magicka Nightblade, a friend of mine showed me a parse live and yeah, it felt/looked totally weird.

    my dps is inpacted now ihave to reduce rate of waving or half dont apply (is better this way) so the result is less dps with force pulse weaving now

    i was doing 35-40k dps with only light attack and force pulse now is dificult to mantain 30k aaa happy times

    i did notice the change and i didnt know they would do this, at first I thought they had eliminated the weaving so it is VERY noticable

    if this is intended then it is the best decision in the right direction.
    i may just start enjoying the game alot more now, and play more hours of pvp daily again.

    The best combat feature in the game is animation canceling and weaving if it is gone then the combat is mediocre

    That's why i put it in quote, it was sarcasm, or rather, i'm so disillusioned that the eso devs can pull off anything without any major [snip] that i try to at least make fun of the situation.

    I mean, the fact that in the last year or so i played maybe 2 months it's telling of the state of this game.

    By the way, to the people that are happy because light attack changes, they didn't remove weaving, they just *** it up.

    They will never remove it, just drop the subject already, you have lost, ac is here to stay, any game in this *** world has some form of animation cancelling. Get over it.

    Have you tried it today? Weaving is still present, but timing is awful because character animations lag, freeze and desync. Basically rotations have to be done with addon timers, or by memorizing and blindfolding yourself. Visual cues are broken. Nobody wanted this.

    Could also be release day lag. But its ultra annoying. I try to weave jabs and every 3rd or 4th time I do 2 light attacks or jab fires 2 seconds later.

    Hardly, its a god awful bug. Lets see what it gives us:

    Doubles the number of messages to the server for every single spell that's weaved!
    Encourages spamming spells - Enjoy clicking twice a second? that's not skill, its mindless rote spamming or macro play.
    Gives advantage to the spammer over people who dont spam, that is not encouraging reactive game play.
    In PVE, dps is based on...spamming light.

    It goes on.

    If removing lightweaving gives us even 20% extra performance and ability to actually use skill, its win.

    This is the worst change to the games mechanics that has ever been implemented, expect massive pushback from the community in weeks to come.

    I tested it two weekends ago.

    DW was 900ms for full heavy. Now it's 1,100ms.
    2H was 1,100 for full heavy. Now it's 1,350.
    Bow, Inferno, Ice were all the same, but LA weaving is f'd now.

    I reported it several times, as did other people. I fully expect to have this mess until February with the next patch. I already started changing my builds to drop bow it's that bad.
