Bug Report: Pack Leader's Bone Broth recipe not working

So far during Witches Festival, I have collected 2 copies of the legendary recipe "Pack Leader's Bone Broth". The first copy I "learned" as soon as I obtained it, as well all do with new recipes. What I didn't realize at the time was that "learning" that recipe DID NOT WORK.


The only reason I discovered this was when, a few days later, I installed a new addon that keeps track of what recipes each of your characters has learned. When I checked my storage chest with copies of recipes, I was surprised to see the remaining copy of "Pact Leader's Bone Broth" marked as not learned by my main character. I was puzzled, but clicked on the one remaining copy and "learned" it again (a very bad decision on my part). I then went to the provisioner's station and tried to craft "Pack Leader's Bone Broth". To my surpise and disappointment it was not anywhere to be found (it should be under drinks/delicacies).

I reported this, giving the following information:

I received a reply that contained the following sentence:

"After thorough instigation we only see one recipe being used. We do not see record of a second one."

I realize it must be difficult to verify something that happened days ago. But it would be nice to get back the 2nd copy of that recipe.

There are 2 other legendary recipies which are extra copies I've obtained during Witches Festival. Statistically, it's likely that I also received multiple copies of "Pack Leader's Bone Broth" since they're the same level, and probably have the same drop rate.

So, my questions:

1. When is the "Pact Leader's Bone Broth" recipe going to be fixed?

2. When is this recipe going to be added to my recipe list shown at the provisioner's station?

3. Am I going to get back my 2nd copy of Pact Leader's Bone Broth? (Admittedly, this is not nearly as important as addressing questions 1 and 2.)

Do you have all the ingredients?

I ask because you have “have ingredients” checked in your provisioning menu, and some of the ingredients are not obvious (specifically Dragon Bone, which is not a provisioning mat).

ETA: Bone is also necessary, x5, and is a style mat as well.

Nice catch! When I unchecked "have ingredients" the following showed up:


Drinks/delicacies with "have ingredients" unchecked!


However, that now raises a puzzling question. Why was it possible for me to learn this recipe twice? If you try to learn a 2nd copy of a recipe you already know, you get the error message "recipe already known". I know for certain that I had 2 copies of this recipe, and now they're both gone - and both times the indication was that I had learned the recipe.

Glad you found it!

As you say, it really shouldn’t be possible to have learned it twice. I know I’ve learned recipes on wrong toons before, and I definitely confuse Pack Leader’s with Bewitched Sugar Skulls all the time (no idea why), but if you’re certain you learned the same thing twice on the same toon, I don’t know how that happened. Even stranger that Support can’t see a record of it.

I guess the simplest explanation would be that I learned a different recipe & mistook it for Pack Leader's Bone Broth.

Oh, well. Live & learn.
