    It’s almost certainly because you pulled crocs or skeevers and never killed them.

    Their pathing doesn’t allow them to reach you, and they don’t disengage like overland mobs.

    That link doesn’t have too much more info — I was bemused that this longstanding issue was brought up twice this morning already.

    I was told about the crocs by a healer friend of mine who played daily since the first year (and who has sadly stopped this year due to the condition of the game). They always made me kill the crocs to avoid this issue, and that has always worked for me.

    In the other thread, though, another player added the bit about the skeevers. I wasn’t aware they could do it too.

    You and your whole group can crouch, so the mobs disengage. This will allow you to pass through the door. Works in multiple dungeons.

    What is worse, is the fearing boss which sends players into objects. Which we have no way of getting out off. Like the stairs, the walls, the planks, etc. I always try to tank that one as close to the room's center as I can. And when someone gets feared into an object they can't seem to get out off, I drag the boss over there, hoping the next fearing pulls them out again.

    These issues should be fixed though!

    As Virtus says, you have to clear the first room before you move on to guarantee this bug doesn't happen. Unfortunately, many pugs just rush through and end up borking it.

    The real bug is fighting the 2nd boss (I think it is) who fears people into places where they get stuck.
    Yesterday I teamed up with some guildies to do it, becuz I was in queue for the veteran WRS2 pledge for 1 hour and 40 minutes!
    At that boss one of them got stuck in the stairs. Typing /stuck got him booted from the server (maybe cuz he was spamming it, I don't know why that happened). But it has happened to me as well in mid fight where I got feared into an area usually not accessible and no way out. Luckily /stuck helped for me, but it's just annoying to get feared through walls. I wish they'd fix that.

    Guys this is about Wayrest Sewers 2, not 1. There's an issue in Wayrest 2 where the door where Slimecraw would be just does not open - regardless if you kill everything and are out of combat.

    There's issues in both dungeons, but Wayrest 2 can *** you even though you've not skipped anything, or done anything wrong.
    Difficulty scaling is desperately needed. 9 years. 6 paid expansions. 25 DLCs. 41 game changing updates including A Realm Reborn-tier overhaul of the game including a permanent CP160 gear cap and ridiculous power creep thereafter. I'm sick and tired of hearing about Cadwell Silver&Gold as a "you think you do but you don't"-tier deflection to any criticism regarding the lack of overland difficulty in the game.

    While on the topic of doors not "working" in dungeons, because of engaged but not killed mobs, there are harpies in Blackheart Haven preventing you to use the door before reaching the final boss.
    The problem with these harpies is that they bug out and doesn't always land on the ground (right before the 3rd boss "First Mate Wavecutter").
    While bugged out in the air, they sometimes even decide to reset their HP, if you don't have strong enough burst damage to kill them off.
    One way to get through the door, before the last boss, is to just wait while sneaking/crouching until you're out of combat.

    That Bug is unrelated to any specific dungeon.

    It occurs if you have engaged an enemy and didnt kill it.

    I had it yesterday in Blackheart Haven, just before the Boss. I had to backtrack for one puny little birdie! Luckily the group waited...
    If anyone here says: OH! But, PVP! I swear I'll ...
