Cyrodiil Testing Strategy

Hi,

Of course you are welcome to test however you like. However, be aware that in the course of the last 2 months you've effectively destroyed a major guild as the changes made it impossible for us to play as group, morale was worn thin, and we split up.

So, on a personal level, I want to say great job guys. Destroyed what was a 100 person plus guild that was in existence for 3 years.

The fact you let AOE proc sets dominate the game, then wonder if heals are to blame, is absolutely unbelievable. Now, if you're goal was some giant psych test as to whether Cyrodiil raiding guilds would adapt - of course they fricking can't/won't - first of all, who the hell is gonna pay real gold and transmutes to experiment with builds that (a) might not work and (b) even if they do, will only work for a fricking week?

Why didn't you just give us free gear ala Test Server, and then roll back free changes at the end of testing? Well, who knows... [Snip].

It's only another few days, @Romilly.

It's not like the testing weeks were a surprise or anything ... ZOS gave ample notice ahead of time.

What your guild(s) do in that time is up to them.

Players that are gone now will be back ...

Another few days however keep in mind that should results of those tests be optimistic towards reducing server load ZoS still may want to go such direction in some future update.

It was supposed to be 4 weeks. It ended up being double that.

It's wrecked entire classes (Templars, which I actually dont play, but feel for). But more importantly, predictably wrecked group play.

Where's the test to disable proc AOE damage sets? Or are they somehow able to do the math on those effects (but not group heals).

We were able to play as a group without major issue. The only noticable change was in survivability. We did modifiy builds and setups to try different things on different weeks to combat the changes and some worked better than others.

If they implemented the changes group play would certainly change slightly but not by too much in order to have the same effects as pre-testing group play.

They won't be back if they are implemented. Why stay in a game where the devs are so out of touch with the community?

Just scrap open world, get it over with. Make it multiple arenas. Then we can all go decorate our houses.
Here $15, goat mount please. Not gambling or paying 45 : lol :

I agree its not to difficult to adapt, but the combat resulting from tests is not fun. I think many of us play eso because we like the fast paced battle, if that is removed, I think many will leave eso and go to New World or some other game.
