Character Build Presets (again)
Saved build presets that we can use to quickly change all aspects of a characters setup including gear, skills, attributes and champion points needs to be a thing in this game especially for console players. I know PC players can work around this issue with addons and thats probs the reason this point doesn't gain more attention but on console it would improve the game soo much.
This feature would help people who regularly play both PvE and PvP content and make it quicker and easier to switch between, it would help people who play tanking and healing roles in PvE because outside of vet dungeons and trials these builds are often too specific to the role and perform poorly in solo PvE content and general questing/adventuring and it might also encourage more people to switch to tanking and healing roles in group content and alleviate the long queue times for dps's in group finders.
From my own experiences I 'had' a tanking and a healing character built for PvE however I found that it was largely pointless using these characters in any other content because both characters were slow to kill enemies solo without the support of other dps's and weren't built for PvP. Rather than messing around every time and swapping skills, gear and re-specing skills and attribute points (at the cost of gold) I ended up just changing them back over to dps builds instead.
In my opinion the best way to implement something like this would be with a housing furniture item and overland station similar to the transmute feature. This would stop people from being able to change mid way through a trial or dungeon and would require them to travel to a place to swap it. Something like a magic mirror or wardrobe in the guild house where you could save 2 or 3 different identities for your character would be perfect and because its really about making money in the end, throw some identity save slot tokens on the crown store so people can buy more slots similar to what they do with the outfit styles.
Apologies if you've read 100 similar posts to this one before but I cant understand how this isn't a feature in the game already. If people have other thoughts or dont agree with the idea here then I'd be happy to hear opinions or alternative solutions to this?
(I play on Xbox EU server - previously played on PC)
