Class recommendations for returning player.

Hello,
I am returning to the game and have several level 50's but I pretty much only play stam characters. I am wondering how stam is faring right now? I enjoy soloing content and really like Nightblade, but I used to find it hard to stay alive as he was always squishy. Has any of this changed? Or should I look at maybe rolling a Stam Necro or Stam Warden? I know there are tons of videos on builds out, I just don't know how good they are since it seems a lot of buffing and nerfing has been going on. Any help would be great. Thanks.

✭Stamina is top dog dps still. You can't go wrong with necro. They change nightblade every...patch for last 6 patches or so. O.o I am just left confused. Stam warden is favored in pvp, but rare butterfly in pve.1 -

✭If your asking which class is the strongest:
Pvp its either warden or necro
Pve dk/warden tanks, templar/warden healer, nightblade/sorc dps.
Nightblades are still the only class that has a decision based and interactive rotation.0 -
Stamden is very fun , at least for me. I rolled one a few months back and he actually became my main. I liked my StamDK but I just feel that the warden is more versatile and a lot more fun to play.0

If you are talking about PvE with Stam being top dog you are wrong. Nearly all end game trial group pretty much only run Mag DPS, as of late.1 -

Thanks, but I was speaking of when I played way back. Now now. Since I honestly have no clue what is or is not squishy at the moment. However, I also was speaking of Stamina now Magicka. I have never had a magicka character of any type. I enjoy using weapons, not staves or wands, but that is just me. If I could play a nightblade as a magblade and use weapons and staves I might try that. Again I am not sure how a magblade even plays. Enlighten me
