New event. Am I missing something?

Did the quest. Had the buff up. Went to do dungeon and did the vet pledges dlc as well. I got no event tickets? Is this normal or am I missing a step? Anyone able to toss me some information?

Start troubleshooting by ruling out the simplest explanations first I think.

- Current stash of event tickets is not 12/12?

- Sounds silly but is possible to somehow miss looting the first boss of the day. If so, those tickets are gone.


I'd recommend trying again tomorrow making sure that the first boss you kill gives you a lootable corpse and that you do indeed loot it. If no tickets drop for you tomorrow after ruling those things out, sounds like a bug of some sort. You can only get tickets (3 at a time) from the first boss you kill each day.

Only at 5/12 when I started the day still at 5/12 I looted everything I see thanks for the information. I am going check tomorrow and see.

Please be aware that there are several different kinds of bosses that can drop the tickets-- there are seven categories for the purpose of determining which type of style pages have a chance of dropping (meaning head, chest, legs, etc.), but some of those seven categories include multiple types of bosses, such as the bosses for overland quests, dolmens, public dungeons, and so on. That means you must be careful to loot every type of boss you kill, because if you kill a boss on the way to a trial or pledge but don't loot it, then continue on to do the trial or pledge expecting to get tickets from killing the final boss, you're not going to get them because they were on the corpse of the other boss you'd killed but didn't loot.

Try a delve or anchor boss. I waited till the turn over last night and killed a public dungeon group event boss. I got a demora skull, but no tickets. I did get my tickets earlier today killing an anchor boss. I don't know if some bosses are bugged, but I can confirm those two, delve and anchor, drop tickets.

Also, be sure to loot every boss in a dungeon, not simply the final boss. I went to the Bad Man public dungeon and ran straight to the big boss-- the giant snake mother-- and got tickets that way. But the next day I went back to the same public dungeon and inadvertently took a different route to the snake, which put me at one of the smaller bosses, so I went ahead and killed it with the expectation that I was going to receive a regular plunder skull instead of a golden plunder skull. But when I looted its corpse, I got the golden plunder skull plus my three tickets. So be aware that you should loot every boss just to be safe, not just the final boss. Note that when I soloed a group dungeon I did get regular plunder skulls for the smaller bosses whereas the final boss gave me the golden plunder skull, so group dungeons might be different than public dungeons in that respect.

I've run two CP 160+ and one level 41 through Silumm in Glenumbra yesterday and today. Got tickets and gold skull on all of them. I guess I'm just lucky?

I just do delves. I don't need more than one skull per account. I'm not.... greedy. And I really don't have any interest in obviating my normal playstyle to - [expletive not posted] - run content I really dislike for more "not really fun" loot.
