Unexplainable lag spikes

For some odd reason, I keep getting massive random lag spikes in Battlegrounds PvP.
My ping averages around 89ms for most of the time but sometimes lag simply spikes to 3000ms+
I've run this game on this computer since forever and never had such issues. It makes PvP a complete frustration rather enjoyment and I regularly ALT+F4 out of frustration.
Yes, I tried rebooting my PC.
No, it is not my PC.
No, it is not my internet connection.
No, it is not my router.
No, it is not my modem.
