DSA weapons don’t drop for low-level characters.

✭✭✭✭From that thread it seems to treat the final location like a separate area, similar to how if someone loots a chest in a dungeon and then a group member ports in afterwards, that second person cannot get the chest. They must both be in the same “area” (however the game defines that) for both to be eligible to loot.
Did your group mates loot anything before you got there, or was the chest missing for everyone?0 -
Spearpoint✭✭✭The four of us beamed up together, so I don't think they could have started opening chests before me. The other three got their chests. The beam "lagged" while I was levitating, which I don't recall having seen before. There was about a second in between, each "lag jump", where I caught up with the rest on each lag jump.

Did you see them loot when you were in the room? That lag you mentioned may have been enough to keep you out of the loot area while the first person opened the box. If you aren't in the room when it's opened the first time, that may be good enough to keep you from looting at all.
All members need to make sure that all other members are in the room and connected (moving, etc) before opening that box.0
