We are currently investigating connection issues some players are having on the North American and European megaservers. We will update as new information becomes available.
Someone made a really nice flowchart showing the recommended order to play this game (sorry if dupe)
Yes, we ALL know you can play this game how you want, however, as I mentioned over on this reddit thread, that leads to continuity and immersion issues in the game. "his really should be put up and promoted by the company itself. They do not push new players at all to do the original questline first, which leads to them running into people whom they have met in other expansions when they finally do the original questline, those characters have no idea who they are. The expansions have npcs in them that talk to the player as if they know what dying is like, or that they lack a soul or some other reference to the original questline that they have not played yet."
This person posted a chart they made which, even though it is missing a couple of things, it generally paints a fairly clear path and I think the company ought to promote doing the original questline to
new players as a way of making things clearer down the road.
Here is the thread if you want to see it direct or if the image link below craps out.
