Malacaths brutal Rune core lead

I Got the lead before i had the greymoor chapter, so it expired. Now i only need the Rune core to complet the ring, but i’ve been fight IC upper World bosses for days now, and still no lead.
Is it bad luck or Can it be a bug?

It’s just bad RNG, @Noxhem.

If you believe in folklore, try running IC top bosses on another character ... to see if the lead drops faster.

That’s what I did when I had trouble with the Torc fragment that wouldn’t drop from the Deshaan World Boss.
