How long is ZOS going to put it's customers through this? The issue is so obviously a lack of hardware support for the game it's not rational to expect anyone to believe otherwise.
The lag is directly proportional to the number of players online, in all areas combined. Every weekend performance in all of Tamriel drops and cyrodiil becomes unplayable.

This, I was been doing the Southern Elseweyr quests on an alt as its an year since I did them. Suddenly the zone is packed.Free eso+
Dlc zones and dungeons full of noobs.
Went to northern Elsweyr and farmed dragons for this lead https://eso.mmo-fashion.com/wp-content/uploads/sites/2/2020/05/Stained-Glass-of-Lunar-Phases-2-272x300.jpg
As many did them I thought it was an good time.
Pugging vet dlc would be an bad idea however

It's been all weekends for months now performance has noticeably declined during the weekend. It's not an event specific phenomenon.1
