Grouping / Dungeon finder / Instances bugging out

It is hard to describe what the actual cause of this is, because it can occur in instances that are manually formed, and instances that are group finder formed. Trials, Arenas and Dungeons.

Without knowing the cause I can only describe the symptoms.

1) Sometimes, out of nowhere in a trial I will hear the group finder search noise go off.

2) When using group finder on a low level alt, sometimes when a group is found, it would declare I am unable to enter because I do not meet the level requirements, the instance is set to vet, when it is impossible for a low level character to even select vet.

3) I was playing NORMAL Frost vault with a pre made group, but we used finder to initiate it, one player who was sub CP300 (about 220 I believe) just got booted for no reason, no vote kick, nothing. As though the game thought it was vet, and cleared him out of the group.

4) 4 of us did vDSA, we were on the last boss of the 2nd last round then one player dropped, after waiting a long time we got replacement. As soon as he joined the group, the instance set itself to NORMAL. Instance reset.

Has anybody else experienced things like this or know the cause or solution? 4) still hurts.

    2) is known pugging as <50 for random normal, finder messes up and believe dungeon is vet even if its normal.
This prevent the <50 from joining and they get debuff for not entering as an added insult.

    3) <300 cp getting refused to DLC follow this pattern.

Not run into this myself, I run some random normal with <50, this was an full 4 man group, also pugged some normal dlc without problems.
But its well reported here on forum and ZoS is aware of it.
Grinding just make you go in circles.
Asking ZoS for nerfs is as stupid as asking for close air support from the death star.

In veteran dungeons I have noticed that when you are short a groupmember and re-queue to find a replacement, it often fake-queue's you. It appears as if though you are in queue, but you are not. Then when you pass lead to someone else, and they re-queue you, it instantly finds a person.

As a tank, being unable to find any DPS.... you know something is off. hehe

Twice the finder bugged out today when I queued for a random normal (with a <50 character), and placed me in a group for a veteran dungeon. Of course, I couldn't be transported into the instance, as it was in veteran mode, so the groups had to kick me, and I was stuck with the 13min timer penalty. I don't know if it's important, but in both cases, the random player who had the crown, was a CP-enabled player. So maybe if a CP-enabled player queues for a random normal (and has vet difficultly in their group screen), the finder can bug out and place them in a vet dungeon, along with sub-50 players who were also queueing for a random normal...

Suspect its has something to do with this. Note that the dungeon is still normal but finder believe its normal.

Also thought you did not get cooldown if you was kicked. Had people asked to get kicked before as they was not up to dungeon.

Yep, thought the same, and in both bugged cases there was a cooldown applied.

Guess its another bug with the dungeon finder, I'm not surprised.
Its probably some of the most bugged software I have run into then you think of its limited scope.

Yes ESO as a system is has lots more bugs, but they tend to be rare or only happen during high loads and is thousands of time larger. Dungeon finders only job is to manage an queue of players, arrange them into groups and send them to dungeons.
It has serious issues doing that, with false queues, who you can solve by dropping out of queue and then queue again.
This new bug and giving cooldown on people getting kicked as an bonus.
And it fails catastrophic during loads.

I have had two of my characters(I dare not try more) stuck in group finder from the moment I login. It never finds a group, and joining someone elses group usually bugs them out and they cant disband, kick me or invite others, but then I did join a trials group and ran a few trials no problem, but as soon as I leave the group and log or rezone it pops back nto the queue that never pops. Ive contacted support who suggested a bunch of things to try but nothing works. I am at the point where I have given up and accepted it. I am hoping the next major update does something, but server maintenece didnt phase it all so I am managing my expectations.

Its amazing to me that support cant just reset my account and fix it instantly. Do they even have control of anything?

I'll add another to the list

    5) Que and if somebody that the finder has found rejects the call, you too get pulled out of que. Normally it would keep your spot at front of que until another ground is found and only the person that rejects the call gets taken out of que. This is really terrible for DPS queing for 30-40 mins only to have to do it all again if it fails in the first instance.
