I recently got my 2nd Templar to 50; this time a purely magicka built healer; and needed some entry level gear. I had been saving up all my daily reward boxes, since level 30; so I had a lot of Winter's Respite pieces to choose from. Given the enormously silly cost of crafting jewelry, I opted to use Restoration\Lightning Staves, Necklace & Rings, from this set, as my reward boxes provided all the jewelry in purple quality.
So, now I needed to settle on a set for Boots, Legs, Waist, Chest & Hands. The set that offered an 8% chance to make a Mag skill cost nothing didn't appeal at all (I hate RNG, and avoid it whenever possible). I was really surprised to see that, among the craft-able Healer sets,...there really isn't anything that looks very appealing. I settled on Coldharbour's Favorite.
A 6 second HOT/DOT, with a 2 second cast time (effectively), incurring a 10 second CD...seemed passable, given the potency of the HOT/DOT. Plus you get to summon Honor, right! He's adorable!
Except...I haven't seen him show up once! I've checked my meters too, and I don't see his HOT or DOT. So, it's not just the visual aspect which seems to be missing. Without that, this set goes from passable, to absolute garbage. I've tried a variety of healing and damaging abilities, both Mag and Stam oriented, and nothing seems to make Honor show up. Is there something I'm missing here? Is it all a bad joke; like it only works in Coldharbour or something?
I don't think this would normally cause a problem but, I should mention that the chest is Heavy and the legs are Medium, with the other three being Light. That shouldn't matter, should it?
Anyway, does anyone else have this set and also feel a bit...dishonored?
