User name not being saved

I have always had my username saved for logging in, and only had to enter my password. But the past few days the username hasn't been there. I am also having similar issues with other websites and have checked my computer and chrome settings. I can find nothing causing this. Please help.

Opening the launcher and game as an administrator can help with settings not saving upon exiting.

Run launcher and game as an administrator

1. Right-click on the game Launcher and select Properties.
2. Navigate to the Compatibility tab.
3. Check the box that says Run as Administrator.
4. Click Apply and then OK.
5. Repeat these steps for ESO.exe, located in C:\Program Files (x86)\Zenimax Online\The Elder Scrolls Online\Game\Client (by default).
