Should Stabbity Doom be Stream Team

I'm watching Twitch streams online while playing ESO and I think Stabbity Doom should be a member of the ESO stream team. I have been trying many streams over the past few days and there are some stream team streamers that are far lower quality and entertainment than Stabbity Doom. I feel she should be on the stream team. If you agree please indicate in the poll.

I expect there is a way to get Zos' attention to get on their stream list. I expect the threshold to be on the streamer list is not very high outside of streaming at regular times.

The last time I checked out the so-called stream team -- admittedly it's been a while -- about half of them were playing bow gankblades in pvp or bgs. And I'd see them stop in the middle of a bg while in stealth to talk to chat instead, not the sort of teammate I would ever hope to have in a bg myself.

If ZOS doesn't have one or two people on their team doing housing stuff, I don't see why they shouldn't add her. It's the the true endgame of ESO after all.

Ok here is her link

She posts a youtube video of her stream daily and gives timestamp listings of which users homes she visited that day to make it easy to look at specific peoples homes or specific types of homes more easily.

Yeah I should have made one but since it doesn't affect the outcome you can just select you don't watch them. I tried to edit the poll but it will only let me edit the discussion part and not the poll itself.

Considering that most of the Stream Team is absent and/or playing other games, there's hardly any prestige or meaning to being on the Stream Team. When twitch drops are on, anyone playing ESO can get you a drop so "everyone" is on the ESO Stream Team in a way.

She mentioned it on stream as something she'd like. She has a giveaway of 50,000 gold daily but can only give it to PC players. Being on stream team means she can give drops to console players too.

Just as a full disclosure and so Gina doesn't think I'm mounting any campaign, I was not behind this and did not ask MrsRobot (I do appreciate how sweet this was, though, MrsRobot) or anyone else to do it. I only was pointed to this this morning by a friend who noticed it.

I did mention I wanted stream team because then I can give out gifts to console as well and also wanted to see if I could give more housing feedback to ZOS. I will be applying for it again next quarter, and hopefully then I can reward people on all platforms. I appreciate the kind words. I do my best and stream team or not, I'm sticking around. We'll see if it happens

I guessed from the title that this was a topic about whether it's ok for people streaming ESO to randomly murder NPCs while streaming, and clicked on it because I couldn't tell if the OP was for or against the idea. It took me a while to work out what it was actually about.

I never watch streams myself and don't particularly care how they're promoted, but I do like the username 'Stabbity Doom'.

Yes. She focuses on Housing and educating people on what they can do with it. I've found her streams very helpful personally. And she has always been a positive, encouraging voice in the community.

We need more Stream team members who tackle these other parts of the game

I absolutely love StabbityDoom's content. She is funny, entertaining, kind and caring about people and the housing community. Her ESO house tours are the highlight of my day... and keep me playing ESO! She has mentioned many times that she would love to be able to reward her viewers on consoles, but without ESO Stream Team she can only reward PC users. She gives away 50k gold every day. (jemimaturner)

Hi!

I just wanted to chime in and say how much I've enjoyed Stabbity's ESO streams.

Finding myself new to housing, Stabbity has been a wealth of information and inspiration.

Her streams are fun and I usually learn something new or get inspiration for ESO housing. Which in turn has given me more reason to explore and do more in ESO itself. I'm pretty reclusive and shy but I've always felt welcomed by Stabbity. She's a wonderful potato!

I feel that Stabbity and her housing input would be a wonderful and diverse asset to the ESO Stream team.

The threshold is actually very high. It says 1,000 viewers to qualify but I have more than that (and stream every day, only ESO) and I did not make it. As I understand it 100s of people apply.

I believe that the decision as to who gets to be on the stream team should rest with the streamer and the playerbase, primarily. I do not know Doom and have not seen her content, but judging from this thread, it seems that she is a pleasant and well-liked streamer. That, combined with the fact that it seems Doom covers housing and other aspects of the game, make me think she would indeed be a good member of the team.

I imagine the stream team list could use an overhaul, anyways.

This young lady has a heart of gold and she works hard to showcase our eso housing community's creative talents.

I have mostly been a lurker in our housing forums...am a bit of an introvert but that doesn't mean i can't support our amazing 'housing community people who's work i love 😊❤


Stabbity doom is a dedicated and very passionate eso housing streamer and she is very talented. I think she will be a great asset to the eso stream team.....

Don't watch them, I'd rather play or, if I have free time, do something.

Housing is one of these esoteric things about eso that I am completely ignorant about but, judging from some of the threads/posts on this forum, to me it seems there's some genius-class creativity (example) going on most of which goes largely unnoticed, by me anyway.

But I expect if I ever get into housing @StabbityDoom posts/threads/whatever would probably be among the first I'd check out for information on how to get started or for some ideas.

Seems like a decent, helpful human being, too, without a gigantic ego; can't stand those youtube offerings that are 90% ego, 8% intro/exit music/glitz and 2% of arguable 'content'.

She does use the 'F' word an awful LOT, though.

I don't watch people play - especially since I don't have an unlimited data allowance. But as SilverBride says, I find her forum posts very helpful - and she's a genuinely nice person.

They don't care about what you stream or how useful it is. They care about attracting people to watch other people play ESO and this is probably based on follower count. I doubt Twitch trims the follower count for inactivity, so you'll notice streamers saying you have to be a follower to qualify for giveaways.

In sum, it's marketing mumbo jumbo instead of anything curated and liable to be useful. The fact that useful streamers like Stabbity are NOT curated into the Stream Team despite the qualifications just proves Stream Team status is nothing to get excited about, especially by viewers.

Just watch Stabbity whenever, especially when drops are on.
