Has anyone else ever had this issue logging in?

This is a first for me. So I have not had issues logging in before at all. There are no billing issues (ESO + subscriber here). No emails stating my password or account had any requests or strange activity. I just tried logging in and get a message along the lines of: "Login Failed. Your username or password may be incorrect or inactive at this time . . . "
The thing is when I try to log in to my account online, I just get no response from the website. I cannot even hit 'forgot password' or anything like that. The screen just stays the way it is.
Could this be because of the maintenance yesterday or . . . ?

My situation is the opposite. I can log in to the support website. I cannot log in to the game nor can I log on to my account or store on the online webpage.

Should I still attempt to use the account recovery then?
