Non consensual sexual simulations are NOT ok

And, no, I'm not talking about teabagging.

Someone asked for a Vampire bite today. By the time I logged on my Vampire and got to the shrine they had already gotten bitten by someone else. So, trying to be nice, I asked in zone if anyone wanted a bite.

Someone replied and a few minutes later we were at the shrine. I clicked X and the animation started, and I noticed him doing something strange. I don't want to say what it was but it ended up altering the animation so he was left standing instead of kneeling as I bit him. You can use your imagination to figure out what that simulated.

I whispered him that was a pretty dirty thing to do and he said yea kinda. No apology, nothing.

I know this was just my character, but was it? I felt personally violated and wish I had reported it. I only remember part of his name or I would.

I don't know what has happened to our community when people think they it's ok to do such a lewd act to anyone, let alone someone doing them a favor. Because of this I will only bite people I know from now on.

I heard about this happening before. It's trashy and classless. Sorry that this happened to you. This is why I only offer vampire bites to guildies and if I'm answering someone from a random zone, I usually ask for a returnable deposit of 1.5k. Not a ton of gold, certainly less than the crown store and less than what people typically charge for those unaware that you can get it for free from nice individuals. But if they do take advantage of me and do something dumb like this I at least get something out it as collateral. Fair is fair. They get what, 5 secs of amusement? - while I walk away with money. But if they honestly just want a bite? I give that money right back.

Um... You sure it was not a bug? I know you get locked out of doing anything while the animation is going on.

Oh it wasn't a bug. He did a specific action that made it so he ended up standing instead of kneeling. And he did it just as I was clicking X. I hesitate to say just what he did because I don't want to give others ideas, but it was deliberate.

And when I said that was a pretty dirty thing to do he replied yea kinda.

I agree with the OP on this one. It is a pretty nasty thing to do to someone.

I have seen players do some pretty crazy things with emotes, so it doesn't surprise me at all there is a way to cancel the vampire bite animation.

Careful, comrade, you can be rigiously reported for not taking such an important issue seriously. Just a friendly warning. :)

OP, so what exactly need to be done with such people? Tell us, please. And what if such a thing was done by an accident? How to prove guilty? And why should a player apologize to you for an obvious bug in the game? Was he mocking you, or something? No, I don't think so, his answer sounds perfectly neutral to me. The whole basis of your take is questionable.

    if it wasnt an emote
    pick one

    1) sneak
    2) jump
    3) seath weapons back and forth
    4) block

this is only 4 things you can do without emotes, so what it was?

You are forgetting some. Like walking and running, to name a couple. And what he did was a simple thing that he KNEW would leave him standing instead of kneeling. What he did was NOTHING anyone would even consider doing when about to get bitten UNLESS they knew it would have an effect they wanted.

Must be a hard playing a video game on high speed internet, through a rig & screen worth hundreds of dollars, in a comfy home with all the great benefits of a first world country, and be so "personally violated" by a internet troll.

I'm so sorry you had to go through such a real tragic event, hopefully with the attention of this post you can find some healing.

There is no need to prove if someone is guilty, we live in a world where its guilty until proven innocent. Only one side of the story is needed and that is the side of the victim. I don't agree with it, but it's what happens daily IRL and on these forums.

My gf wants to repeat it on my character. It's legit, right?
    He KNEW what he did.
Was he also aware of the fact that you were offended by the action? English is not my native (obviously, duh), but as far as I know word "dirty" also have a non-negative meaning. If you know what I mean. :)

This is kind of a thing with some people right now. Someone posted a screenshot of them giving a bite, it was a few hours ago (thought it was on our subreddit, but it seems I must have seen the SS on discord). S/he was on their knees and the other toon was .... standing. If you get a request for a bite beware you might be giving more than a bite.

You need to make sure something is obvious and not just your interpretation. You'd hate to report someone because of a misinterpretation. I just ignore stuff like that because there is no dirty emotes in the game, only emotes used in creative ways to cause someone to imagine a similar in real life action that would be considered dirty. But that's just me. Laugh first, be offended second. If you feel wierd then whisper to them "stop because it looks like you're (doing whatever)." Then what they do or say after that will determine whether you need to report them.

I keep saying it wasn't an emote. He did a quick activity that made it so he ended up standing instead of kneeling, as I leaned over to bite him. It doesn't get more obvious than that.

I couldn't stop the animation of biting him or I would have. And how am I supposed to tell him don't do it again when a bite is a once a week thing, and I would never be in that situation with him again?

I should have reported it and if it ever would happen again I will. Then Zenimax can decide if they are guilty or not.
