I believed I could fix this fashion disaster of an outfit with a good dye scheme, but to my dismay the gold metal is undyeable.

My best attempt so far.

On the Vampire Noble outfit you let us dye the metal claws ZOS but why not here with this outfit? It really messed up all the ideas I had and makes certaint dye schemes just not work since you have this bright gold all over it!

I understand only getting 3 dye channels on each piece, but why must something always be un-dyeable? Either trim (and very few costumes have SILVER trim), or a sash, or jewelry etc. I may not want giant red stones and bright gold on the Nibense Noble gown but that's what I'm stuck with. Same for that blah sash on the Budi Shirt and Galligaskins. Nice bight top/pants with dull brown waist.

    It's very frustrating.

I actually like the outfit but this flap in front is a disaster, it doesn't fit at all
and I'm generally tired of this flaps just EVERYWHERE

I agree. I like the general design, but why is there a front flap on something with "Passion" in the title?

"There is no better bait for a trap than temptation and no better lure than seduction. This suggestive ensemble will enhance your allure and disarm your prey until it is far, far too late."

I'm not sure about others, but I have a hard time associating a crotch flap with seduction...

Unless there weren't shorts or anything underneath. Then I could kind of see the crotch flap as "seducing".

I know. I just was trying to think of ways the costume could have looked better

Was hoping to copy the dye scheme I had on the Vampire Noble. Not sure how this outfit translated to the Dark Passions Regalia anyway. Was looking forward to more of a Gothic dress tbh...

The gown Lady Essenia wears is the High Collared Coin Ballgown https://eso.mmo-fashion.com/high-collared-ball-gown/#

Yes, I was hoping for a gothic gown to match the Vampire Lords suit... but women are behind in fashion as always.

At least Tamriel can't have unrealiistic expectations of women's fashion.

I don't mind the metal parts being undyeable, but has anyone dyed this white? Like Marble/Julianos White?

Some things I try to dye white and they turn a little gray, like the dark brotherhood robe

Other things become extremely shiny in white, like the magnifica sunda's dress.

I wish you could preview dye stamps on costumes before purchasing, because I'd really like to know how it looks in the colors I prefer.

the high collared ball gown is another one that doesn't take white well for some reason.

The shiny part is because very few dyes are matte. Marble, Julianos, and Lamae's have one of the shiniest finishes, two of them even have noticeable coloured ones. This is why I often end up using Birch White dye if I want something white.

Then of course different material (cloth, leather and metal) dye differently, aswell as various costumes and styles. For example the Assassins style dyes a bit weird and is always dark and a bit murky. Same with the female dunmer costumes which are quite known for how weird they dye. Then there are styles and costumes that are the opposite and dyes almost too well, and everything in between.

Also, this thread is three months old.

...and? I could've made a new thread but since people here already have the costume it seemed better to ask them

I know that dyes look different on different textures, which is why I don't want to buy it without knowing what it looks like in a light colored dye

It's not too old of a thread and it's still relevant. I've also noticed some bugs with this outfit over the months I've had it and they actually bug me more than the undyable parts.

You know the part where the shorts end on the outfit? Well for some reason some kind of model geometry we can't see has grabbed ahold of that part of the outfit and whenever you jump, lay on the ground, or have your character spread their legs apart (like during the idle destruction staff stance) you can see your character's legs being pulled and distorted. I wish ZOS would fix this horrible graphics bug.

You're welcome. You bumping this thread actually encouraged me to make a bug report thread on it as I've realized it has not really been reported.

Is it just me, or this costume seems to elongate the upper torso?

The crotch flap does seem to give the impression of a longer torso :D
