Anyone else wish Dark Shade would summon two shades again?

Honestly the skill was just so much cooler looking to me when it summoned two shades instead of one. Anyone else in favor of this coming back? Perhaps half the damage of each shade so the damage comes out the same.

What do you guys think?

Yeah, I liked double shade. Never got to use it because I leveled my blade too late and was dissapointed that it only summons 1 now.
That one khajiit obsessed with werewolf behemoth and vampire lord. Lady Thorn is bae, dont @ me.
    Werewolf behemoth=vampire lord>blood scion>werewolf>vampire.

They looked cool, but this new shade does more damage than the previous two together

The old 2 shades was cool when used with the hunt set which netted a nice stamina sustain for nb tanks back in the day.

This is true which is why I'm thinking it would be cool if they kinda combined the old shades with the new one. So basically it still scales off of your highest offensive stats, still does AoE, but each shade does half the damage the current one does.

Basically if both shades are targeting the same enemy, it'll do the same damage it does now (just looks cooler), but if they go after different enemies it would spread the AoE damage around a bit more, which would be helpful.

Or they could have the shades always target the same enemy, whatever people prefer, I just want the two shades back. Really made this ability feel awesome.

So is there any major reasons this couldn't be a reality? Hoping this really could make a comeback.

Hoping to see an official response on the matter, at least that they are considering the idea. Seems to be favorable so far amongst us.

Much cooler indeed and the more I think about it the more I think it would actually benefit the skill practically. Take half the damage of the current Dark Shade and give it to each the new two shades, still give them AoE capabilities, it would spread the damage around more all the while looking way cooler.

I am a console player so I'm a little late here, but I didn't see anything about this in the PC patch so I'd like to bring this up again.

I have noticed an effort being made to improving class "fantasy" like with the changes to Stam DK and Stam Sorc. To me, this is right up that ally, and would absolutely make this part of Nightblade feel much better. Hoping this gets considered for the next update.

    Is zos a major reason?

To think of a reason against, wouldn't that have some impact on performance? Instead of one 'pet' now you have two and possibly with additional AOE checks going on.

And with the ranged morph, which one of the two would the user teleport to when reactivating?

Getting two back would be cool. I'd also like the option to make the skill optionally toggle-able, so the shade could be up at all times in exchange for having to double-bar it.

Honestly, no. I use it on my Mageblade currently. I honestly only care about the tool tip. Less things on the screen the better if you ask me.
