lead for Old orsinium anvilnot dropping after hrs of farming mobs in pub. Dung: Resolved.

So ive been farming like crazy...RESOLVED

So far ive had no issues with other leads so why this one?
Been in old orsinium public dungeon....killed all bosses and i got my piece for the malzcath band of brutality from the troll boss


But i cant get the anvil lead from the trash mobs near the forge, in the forge...all around the dungeon

Any ideas pls?

Latest edit: thank you all for your replies. What i did was start the Antiquities skill line on one of my alts then i took her into old orsinium public dungeon...for some reason it dropped on that alt...

I've done that dungeon dozens of times now and it never dropped for me, either. I gave up. I'd rather do something fun instead.

I've seen other people post that it dropped for them, though, so maybe we're just unlucky.

I've had it drop from bosses as well as trash mobs, but the drop rate is low compared to the Malacath Band piece. I saw 10 of that for every Anvil lead I saw.

RnG at it's finest.
I have only very recently, as in a few days before the event, started doing antiquities. I have had very little problem getting any of the mythic leads, all group dungeons I only had to do 5 or less times, some even dropped on first try, I had very little issue getting any of the pub dungeon leads for mythics except in bonesnap ruins (I think it was there) I had a gold and purple furniture lead drop before the mythic lead and today I had to farm karstwasten in summerset or whatever it is called for hours.
It's just horrible RnG

Farm the normal mobs just outside the public boss.

I read that ... lead ... in another thread elsewhere, and voila, within about 6-7 respawns (which is pretty quick there) I had the lead.

Good luck. Its a pretty cool furnishing!

I tried it on my alt and got it ....i had not done old orsinium on my alt so i started the quest and as i was going along killing mobs and doing quest it dropped from a random mob. I made sure to do the antiquities quest first to open up the skill line.

I hope you have better luck...maybe you coukd try with an altlike i did.

Yea it's tough when you farm for hrs and start to question if perhaps it's broken for you. I wish you the vest if luck 😊

As per your edit. i have had thoughts of grabbing alts for leads as before I bought greymoor I was getting leads everywhere and now I don't get any. I will use that in the future if I have an issue with a lead.
