queue for Random Normal and get Vet repeatedly

So repeatedly, as subject says, I queue for random normal, and instead it labels it a vet dungeon (even though it seems like normal to me) and it won't let players under 45 join, so it really screws things up. Today my dps and a tank had to do it alone, since no one who was added to the group could enter (all below 45). Why isn't this fixed? It's been going on for a couple weeks and I've put in "in-game" bug reports over and over.

It's happened to me too. It's cause the person that gets leader is set to Vet in their group settings but queued in a normal. I have seen multiple posts on this and put in a game ticket as well. It seems no one has aknowledged the prob yet, unfortunately. It sucks cause you can't enter, then get the disband penalty.

The question is, why haven't they acknowledged it? It hurts everyone.

Yup, I can't play with my healer, because it queues me to vet and I can't go there. Also some players are very unpleasant and they don't even want to kick me even when I'm explaing situation so every time I have 15 minutes ban. In one group I just voted to kick other players so they kicked DD and tank, but still not me - it's some kind of parody

Luke, that's awful. My suggestion is that you join a guild that will work with you. Go to your guild to form the group, then queue for dungeon. It's pretty hard to level up without the big boost you get from the daily random.

It happend just now. I queued for normal, first I got Bloodroot Forge with one alt, then Spindelclutch II, which no one in the group wanted to be in. It cost me hundreds in gold for repair bills and I'm really angry about this unacknowledged issue.

This is 2 patches old now and Zenimax haven’t even as much as acknowledged the bug. They wonder why the consumers get mad... well here is a good place to see the answer.

I know, Rittings. I queue for random normal and get hoodwinked into vet. So I've stopped. I'm only doing specific dungeons (for pledges) now. They'd better fix this before the Undaunted event.

Just an FYI, it’s not under 45, it’s under 50... even level 49s cannot enter. Also, the dungeon is not set to get, it’s on normal, however, the group tool says it’s set to veteran though, and this is where the problem arises.

This only happens when a CP toon has crown... the work around would be queuing with a friend and let them give the under 50 the crown prior to queuing. Even then though, if you are grouped with another pair that has queued there is a 50% chance one of that pair lands the crown and the bug can still occur.

Also, if you are voted out of the dungeon, the 15 minute penalty still is inflicted upon you... because you never entered the dungeon... I believe you are only saved from that penalty if you are kicked after combat has occurred within that dungeon and you are involved in it... this also needs addressing by Zenimax... it’s highly unfair and leaves people open to obvious griefing by toxic players.

Rittings, that's good to know, about the crown. We can always try swapping lead to another character, if any under 50 somehow made it inside, but usually, in the dungeon the game pulls together, that won't work, since they would never have gotten inside to begin with.
