addons not being recognized

I lost my hard drive last week and just reinstalled ESO on my new one. To my dismay initially the interface and addon folders were missing. I uninstalled and reinstalled and now the addon folder is there but not the interface one and my mods still wont work.
Does anyone have any idea of what's going on and how to fix it?

MoonlightShadow✭✭✭Without knowing more I would suggest:
1. Make sure you allow outdated addons under the addons settings.
2. Addons are not part of the base game. You have to install them yourself. Did you download the addons you want and place them in the proper directory?
3. Does the addon you installed require a library? Those have to be installed separately. You will see a missing dependency error on the addon settings page.
4. Without knowing more, it is hard to make any substantive suggestions.0 -

Broken Branch Toothmaul - goblin (for my goblin characters, I use either orsimer or bosmer templates) Templar, member of the Order Draconis and persistently unskilled pickpocket
Mol gro Durga - Orsimer Socerer/Battlemage who died the first time when the Nibenay Valley chapterhouse of the Order Draconis was destroyed, then went back to Cold Harbor to rescue his second/partner who was still captive. He overestimated his resistance to the hopelessness of Oblivion, about to give up, and looked up to see the golden glow of atherius surrounding a beautiful young woman who extended her hand to him and said "I can help you". He carried Fianna Kingsley out of Cold Harbor on his shoulder. He carried Alvard Stower under one arm. He also irritated the Prophet who had intended the portal for only Mol and Lyris.***Order Draconis - well c'mon there has to be some explanation for all those dragon tattoos.
House of Dibella - If you have ever seen or read "Memoirs of a Geisha" that's just the beginning...
Nibenay Valley Chapterhouse - Where now stands only desolate ground and a dolmen there once was a thriving community supporting one of the major chapterhouses of the Order Draconis0 -
MoonlightShadow✭✭✭Minion is the most common way. It is what I use. However, you need to look at the addon settings in-game on the addons screen. You can have all the addons properly installed, but not all authors do the necessary API updates to make sure their addon is "up-to-date." That means the in-game addon manager will flag it as out of date. Unless you give it permission to load out of date addons, it will not touch them. Just an addon lists as being out of date does not mean it is broken. I have some addons that are several years out of date, but because those parts of the game have not been changed, they work fine.
That would be the first thing to check. Also looking at the addon settings in-game, does it properly show the list of addons you downloaded?
