See the previous comment. Deadly strike does not buff uppercut or snipe. They have cast times but they are not classed as “channelled” abilities.
The rule seems to be that channeled abilities actively do something (e.g. damage) while they are being channeled. The skill description will also say if a skill is channeled (as it does for jabs and rapid strikes).1 -

the only stam channel abilities i can think of are dual wield's flurry and a templar's jabs4040
