Does Each Day, doing dailies, no longer count?

I had done the Dailies for the Skyrim Event, yesterday. I went to turn them in at 11:45 pm, so I wouldn't have to wait long, to get the next days, get them done, and hit the Antiquities again. However, as I went to turn them in, I lost my internet connection. I came back when my internet did, about an hour later. I received my 3 Tickets, Gold box, and 2 blues, no problem. After turning those in, the "Blue Arrow", representing an active quest, re-appeared over her head. (Harrowstorms). However, after I completed the new daily? NO Tickets or Gold Box, just the 2 blue ones.

I understand it's one quest per day, but usually? As long as a quest was COMPLETED the day before, turning it in after the day-change, wasn't penalized. I'm guessing it is now? Or was this a "Bug", that should be reported?

The tickets are awarded based on when you turn the quest in, not when you complete it.

It's always been done like that - during the Imperial City event some people used that to their advantage by completing dailies on multiple characters before the event started so they just had to turn them in during the event and didn't have to deal with all the ganker and other idiots running around.

Since you missed out on tickets due to a problem with your internet connection you could try asking Support if they could give you the missing tickets, they might do it to help you out. But the process itself is not bugged.

With Daily Quests, the Cut-Off point is (I believe) Midnight. Unlike Crafting Writs.
If you collect it on one day amd hand it in the next, it counts against the day you hand it in, not the day you took the quest.
You will have to bear that in mind.....

Alright, thanks. I probably just never noticed it before- as I'm usually on late, and begin most of my quests after midnight. Just wasn't sure if this was the norm. Appears it is. Thanks for taking the time to respond.

As Danikat explained, you were mixing up two different aspects of the game.

    1. It is possible to pick up a daily quest on one day and hand it in in another, and still be able to pick up a new quest, as long as that quest was not the exact same. So for example, you can pick up the pledges, do them and hand them in after reset and pick up the next day's pledges right away. But if you hung on to the pledges long enough that you are handing in the same dungeons as the new day's pledges, then you can't do them again.
    2. For events involving dailies, the tickets are awarded when you hand in the quests, so you can pre-do quests if you know you are going to be busy during the week, and then just hand in one quest a day. I have about 3 characters in Western Skyrim sitting with quests and I just hand them in every day.
