The name disparity between "Barbaric" and "Ancestral Reach" motifs

It's pretty clear, when compared, that the upcoming "Ancestral Reach" motif is a visually upgraded version of the original "Barbaric" motif (in the same vein that Ancestral Nord, Orc, Altmer, and Breton are upgraded versions of the respective original styles).

But why the difference in name? There's no normal "Reach" motif, so why call this one Ancestral Reach? Or if it is an Ancestral "upgrade," why not call it "Ancestral Barbaric" then?

Shouldn't the Motif either just be called "Reach" or "Ancestral Barbaric" and not a weird hybrid that doesn't really work from a logic or lore sense?

How does it compare to Briarheart set pieces? They are in the 'Reach Winter' style which doesn't exist outside of that one set iirc. Just wondering since it's the only current set with 'Reach' in the name.

The "Reach Winter" style is pretty drastically different from either Barbaric or Ancestral Reach:

Thanks. I'll be honest I haven't ran anything in Barbaric in such a long time that I didn't know how it compared to Reach Winter.
