So since the ps5 is coming out soon, will eso support the ps5 or stay on the ps4? If it does stay on the PS4 would it be possible for an account transfer to pc?

@Ggang5 don't worry, after 4 years of ESO misery with the crap PS4 hardware, you will be able to enjoy the game on its finest as you are on a PC Master race.

The vast majority of PS4 games will be compatible with the PS5. Besides that, ZOS will release an upgraded version of ESO for the next generation. Date tba.
Transferring accounts between different platforms isn't possible and won't be, imho.

I'm guessing it will be similar to what they did with GTA Online (GTA V). It came out first on the PS3, then the PS4 came out, Rockstar had a period where they supported both consoles. That lasted several months. Rockstar eventually gave a drop-dead date when they would no longer support PS3.

It was a smooth transition. You did have to buy GTA V again on the PS4 though. The big problem was that it was obvious that Rockstar stopped fighting modders and exploiters on the PS3 so the game on that platform became unplayable.

Yes, but easier as PS5 is just another buff over PS4 pro while PS3 was the weird power cpu+ tread processors and only 512 K ram who was low on launch and a joke then PS4 dropped. PS4 is getting old but still an pretty decent system.

And no its not only an server issue, ZoS had to reduce the population cap in Rawl as people crashed on port, people could not port to Brenda during mid winter festival, on the other hand ZoS can not call out players saying they play on craptops.
And yes its still ZoS fail as they could have auto adjust graphic settings.
Grinding just make you go in circles.
Asking ZoS for nerfs is as stupid as asking for close air support from the death star.

@zaria Totally agree. I'm looking forward to seeing how this game performs on PS5. And maybe, just maybe, with Microsoft buying ZOS/Bethesda we could see an upgrade in servers. PLEEEEEASE

If Epic's Unreal Engine 5 (Which PS5 can use) turns out to be as amazing as the demo paints it out to be, we may well be entering the transition point where consoles and PC gaming power are indistinguishable for all intent and purposes.

You can only render something with so many polys, so fast, until reality-quality graphics emerge at 60+fps.
After that, theres no point in adding more hardware unless you're going to increase the number of variables involved, like 10,000 simultaneous players on the screen versus 100.
