Al Esh Ascension Coin & tracking antiquities collected on multiple characters?

Does anyone know or can confirm if you can only acquire the lead and dig up the Al Esh Ascension Coin once per account (account wide) or is it possible to collect it on every character you have?

Also in terms of collecting antiquities on multiple characters is the only way to keep track to note the current amount of times an item has been dug up(?); as in main character dug up an item 3 times but then after another character digs the same item up it will show up in the antiquities journal tab as 4?

The total across all characters is what is shown.

If the coin you are talking about is the one you can get after digging up all the purple treasures, that's once per account.

If you are on PC, the DisplayLeads addon is really useful. Can't recommend it enough.

Yeah I know about the total being all characters but I guess it doesn't really matter keeping track of what each specific character has gotten if you only get the coin once.

I've already gotten the coin & didn't want to do antiquities on alt char thinking I could get it again if I actually couldn't.

I think I will probably do antiquities on my other alts just for the skill perk that allows you to see treasure chests better as I've found that useful on my main who has it.

I do have that addon & it is great!
