They're automatically unsummoned every time you go through a wayshrine to a different zone.stefan.gustavsonb16_ESO wrote: »There is nothing that stops you from having either of them constantly in tow for everything you do, even in addition to another pet if you so desire, and they can both be placed in your house. Ok so this is for tank build only.logarifmik wrote: »Yeah, go on, tell any Alfiq he is a pet. A word of advice, think about protecting your throat and eyes beforehand.

yes game vise they are pets same with the human merchant and banker or the Khajiit fence.Labeling a Sentient being a pet. Almost got triggered.
But I know what you mean.
They should not show up unless in group. No, I sometimes use nameplates to spot Guild Traders and things more easily and this along with always being presented with the E or interaction button in a group setting is so annoying when you're trying to use Synergies or speak to Quest givers. I get especially irate when people leave their Merch/Banks up during a fight.
No, no thank you. These bigger pets, Fat Bears and flappy summons are bad enough.
As in why not they are not more in the way than other small pets like the Raz senche cub and you need to be in group to activate them anyway.

And dispelling the last 3 makes sense, they are large and can be annoying in group dungeons for healers and tanks.

I think the lack of permanence is intentional though. However, you can quick-slot them to make things easier, in case you didn't know.

Yeah, having them out all the time because they're (very!) cute sounds great until you consider the logistics. I play on PS4, where (x) is used to talk to Ezabi, open barrels, jump, dodge roll and call your mom. I have to put Ezabi or Fezez away even when I'm running around all by myself so I don't end up butt dialing them all the time. Quick-slotting them is the best solution.
Did not know that. With keyboard E is to interact button used on npc, players and lots of objects. As in why not they are not more in the way than other small pets like the Raz senche cub and you need to be in group to activate them anyway.
Wrong, merchants and bankers affect the gameplay of the people you are grouped with if they are using a controller...the interact button is one also needed for combat, it can and will mess with their performance....I hate it when people drag them around in dungeons.

I tend to keep one up if some need to stop to clear inventory in dungeons.

Indeed. The console limitations are one of the main reasons why PC players cannot have many nice things.

And plenty who play with controller on PC.

[...] To be honest, pets are the reason I won't even play Sorc, Warden, or Necro....to be effective in those classes you almost have to use the things(with maybe the exception of stamSorc)
Was in an dungeon where both DD and healer used Maw it was not BC2 who I joked about.Did not know that. On PC I play with a controller(yes, it has its benefits and drawbacks, mostly benefits when it comes to PvE, and drawbacks when it comes to PvP). I actually use a PS4 controller because of the extra touchpad buttons vs. an x-box controller...but regardless of whether you play PS4, X-Box, or PC, if you use a controller, you can and will accidentally interact with a merchant during combat.
To be honest, I can't even stand combat pets as a tank....they are always stunning ads so I can't drag them in(the scamp and the bear are the most guilty of this) and generally getting in the way(Maw of the Infernal Daedroth), either blocking the boss animations or making me think they are an enemy.
Non-combat pets are ok...but honestly, I don't think people should have them out in group either...its just more distraction that isn't needed in more difficult content, followers are all great for immersion I guess, but in a group they are often inconvenient to others. To be honest, pets are the reason I won't even play Sorc, Warden, or Necro....to be effective in those classes you almost have to use the things(with maybe the exception of stamSorc)
