New Markarth DLC Houses and Furniture (PTS Preview and Images)

Hi all, I don't have much time for ESO at the moment, so only a brief post for now - I'll leave the videos and details for others.
But I know some people are already asking to see the PTS housing content, so here it is.

New Houses
Shalidor's Shrouded Realm

This house is accessed from Western Skyrim, but takes you to a magical realm created by Shalidor. It has a huge exterior area with ramparts, walkways and a waterfall; an underground corridor and large underground hall; and two towers which have rooms on several levels, and are interconnected with each other and the rest of the home. 350/700 slot Notable home.












Stone Eagle Aerie

A giant house in the 'new' Dwemer style (white and gold). It has an exit to Markarth city, and another exit to Markarth Outlaw's Refuge (behind a waterfall in the house, pretty cool). It has many water features, such as pools and waterfalls both indoors and outdoors. 2 of the doors lead out to the terrace, another door leads to an overlook area above the whole outdoors building, and a separate stairway leads you down to a lower waterfall landing area. It has quite a complex layout! 350/700 slot Notable home.

I cannot tell ZOS how impressed I am with Stone Eagle Aerie from a technical point of view.
We have three different doors leading to three different locations on the exterior of the house; each room is separated by a doorway that is easily blockaded off.

The entire structure is able to be changed based on the builders preference; you can have a generous but small abode with a tiny terrace or it can be a full sized grand mansion. This is exactly the type of stuff I've wanted to see in the notable homes; if we can't increase furniture limits then don't make the house hard to cut off for decorators. Let us pick and choose the decoration spaces.

If we can get some structural furnishings matching the new dwemer designs this would be as good as they've ever done with a manor imo.

I too hope to see more markarth dwarf style in the future. More structural stuff but also lab equipment and dwemer pipes matching the new style.

Isnt it funny how ESO has been out for 6 years and this whole time we did not have any Skyrim style Dwemer Ruins.

Shalidor's. I can get within about a foot of the floating rocks around the house before I hit an invisible wall. Are you kidding me? Really? That alone = hard pass.

I like the purple sky in Shalidors, but it would be way to easy to fall off to oblivion, not something I'd enjoy while being in my home.

There are new furnishings. I picked up a "Dwarven Table, Refinded" recipe during the W. Skyrim event. I sold the recipe but bought the table. It looks like the walls, with the gold trim. Very nice.

That one is 100% a bug. Seems like they didn't fix it yet, despite confirming they are working on it.

'Dwarven Table, Refined' has been in the game since forever, and it used to be a normal Dwemer table (dark grey with bronze metal). In August, it inexplicably got reskinned, which ZOS confirmed was unintentional. Apparently they didn't get around to fixing it yet. But that table is meant to be gray and bronze just like it has been originally for years. If you mean the recipes for the actually new Dwemer furniture in the Screenshot in the first post, those haven't been added to the live game yet, so the white-gold Dwemer crafting plans will arrive with the Markarth DLC: 'This update includes more than 40 new plans for Dwarven furnishings in the Markarth style. These can be found across the Reach, alongside the Solitude furnishing plans from Western Skyrim.'

Also, I haven't really played ESO for a while (*cough GW2 cough* ), but they added the proper melodies to the Music Boxes on the PTS last week. So here they are, a bit late, but still.

I think the Almalexia one is totally beautiful, those moving colourful glass parts are so intricate! Not sure about the Undaunted one, it seems less interesting to look at than other music boxes we got recently. Still, it's nice that they are adding some variety and upping the ante on some of their elaborate designs! What do you all think? Which one do you like? And how do they compete with your current favourite?

Ima be poor if any clockwork stuff comes out. White/gold dwemer does little for me, but the beam and work lamp look stellar.
