I know, too soon?
A number of things I'm hoping for with the recent additions, which btw I'm really excited for and have been wishing for for a long time.
The following may already be coming, this is a pre-emptive feedback
.
1. Frost Staves
Can we have 1 further addition, the passive that drains magicka on block, can that have a small edit to state it only drains magicka on block IF your magicka pool is higher than your stam pool? Its purpose is for mage tanks, but if you are a sword and board tank using a staff, the magicka drain can be a pain.
2. The relationship between Perfect and Non-Perfect
Is there two lists one for Perfect and another for Non-Perfect? If not, can we have Perfect over-ride Non-Perfect to clean up the list. This would mean that Perfect and Non-Perfect would have to be compatible BUT having 4 Perfect pieces and 1 Non-Perfect will still only complete the Non-Perfect set, you still require the full Perfect to get the Perfect bonus.
3. What to do with our Mule character?
This is a future request, clearly not expecting this in U28.
Some of us have character dedicated to being mules that may soon be entering the unemployment line given the fantastic boon to our inventory burdens coming in the patch. An alternative use for these characters that are mules is to have them be merged with a main. For instance, If I have a DK Tank Nord and I have a mDK Breton which is primarily used as just a mule and to occasionally play around with mDK damage, as his services as a mule may no longer be as required as before he may start gathering dust. What I am hoping for is the ability to merge the two characters resulting in the following happening:
a ) You can now swap between racial passives (you don't get both active at once)
b ) You can now swap between morphs on the fly (no longer have to pay to change morphs, or need a shrine)
c ) Attribute system is removed and armor enchants are buffed (resulting in the same stats, but you don't need to use a shrine to change attributes anymore)
d ) CP loadouts, so you can swap between mDK / Tank DK
e ) When you merge a character you lose a character slot, but you get 2 back if you delete the merged character
f ) All quest progress / achievements / shards are merged, however if both characters have completed the same quest and different choices were made, priority goes to the one that isn't sacrificed.
g ) Increased bank space by 20 (to make up for the potential 210 loss in bank space from the mule)
h ) This also creates an option for a Class change of sorts if you are allow the merge 2 character of different classes.
Cost of doing this
a ) You lose 210 bank space potential
b ) You lose the potential for a round of daily writs as 1 of your writ jockeys / mules is now gone.
c ) You need max horse feed / research on at least 1 of the characters to do this.
d ) Your Horse feed / Research resets to the lowest of the two (not at all if bother are fully complete). I doubt ZOS will want you to skip your horse feeding duties.
e ) A character slot. (but you get 2 back if you delete the character you've made)
The end result would be, those that run tanks, we now have a tank that can quest without hitting with a wet noodle. Making use of mule characters that will get little use to make our existing characters more robust. Furthermore, this will reduce the character data base sheet, for many players, from 18 to 12. Meaning ZOS can free up some room to sell more slots to RP players that may want more than 18 characters.
