Critical hits will also effect the amount healed so instead of healing for 65% of 5000 damage, you'll be healing for 65% of that 12k critical you just got. Oh right, your healing done modifiers also increase that healing percent value in the tooltip.
Use it twice to implant the HoT effect on everyone in the group (assuming 4-person dungeons) since it applies to two players per use within 15 meters, then you can let it tick for the 10 second duration while you use other abilities in the meantime.
