What do you consider your biggest failure?

Believing that we would get more large-scale pvp than Cyro. Thinking that we would get many PvE zones with cool and creative storylines that everybody likes, not only the superficial and those who consider lame swearing and nasty/sick dialogue to be an excellent signature of the new millennium.

Total noob, low level healer, doing PUGs, and I equipped an ice staff. Didn't know the tank was talking to me about kiting the boss. Once I realized, asked what "kiting" means. The I asked how I was doing it. I kept the tank's gamertag for a while, to see if I can make it up to him (the poor man was very, very patient and kept explaining what I did wrong...).

Hurrying through all the dungeon quests to get the skillpoints. I still don't know why I'm killing all these people, daedra, etc for.

Accidentally freeing Mannimarco in the relevant quest... I was like, okay, gotta keep this sick dude in chains forever, then the option to free him came up automatically. I'm a simple elf so I pressed E without thinking and there he goes... Looks like I accidentally caused a lot of trouble for the third and fourth eras.

Another thing I regret is missing out on all Summerset content, as I discovered ESO just this year. I missed so many Altmer houses, mounts, and other goodies... Tbh this isn't my failure though, but the game's. They should make old content available for players like me who joined recently.

Ouch, yeah ice staves are not the best tool to use in ESO if you're not a tank. If you plan to make sure you have no points in the Tri-Focus passive otherwise you'll get a nasty wake up call when you heavy attack and taunt the boss.

My biggest failure, was luring a off-tank with no prior experience in Vet Sunspire and not explaining the mechanics well enough. Basically said something in line with "Don't worry about it, I'll tell you about it when we get there" and we got rekt hard!

Or maybe my biggest, leaving a serious trial group and missing out on vAS+2 skin.. someday...... someday.

Crafting and golding out a few set items in one go...right set, right attributes except Level 150 instead of 160. oops.

For a while i was obsessed with parsing on a training dummy. I did it although all i did was PUG vet content. I finally managed to achieve 40k ( that was very good back then ) on a dummy but it held 0 practical value. I wish i spent that time in PVP instead or questing.

Making my main char, whom I did the most quests with, a hybrid tank. More or less equal distribution in attibutes and all. (yep, I guess I expected the game to be like Skyrim )
And not doing dungeons with her while leveling up. I did my first dungeon when I was like CP 100...
Not knowing about bar swap until my 2nd character
Oh and not taking the 2 skill points from the Mages guild quest.

Buying a fully decorated house with cash. I now have the two free ones as well, so that was a mistake since I only use them for two things: storage coffers and training dummy.

Making one of each class and constantly paying to rename/re-race them. I should've seen that I just didn't like them all and given all my love to one toon sooner.

I am pretty terrible at DPS. I have played this game for years and still cant DPS worth anything, I tank or heal instead because of it...but it has locked me out of a lot of content. I guess my DPS is above your average pug, but still not good enough to get into a vet trial unless I am tanking. I guess most of the problem is I spend 95% of my time tanking and not working on my DPS toons and their rotations.
