A suggestion to reduce server load for Guild Houses

During the Imperial event, I did some master writs at one of my guild's houses and I noticed that textures and objects were not rendering. You basically see a black hole in the shape of the object that should be loading. And it got me thinking about things they could do to help improve server performance while in your guild house, and it made me wonder why, at this point, we still need four dedicated crafting tables to be able to build every piece of a crafted set. Could we not have it so that a set of four attuned crafting tables could build every piece of craftable armor by simply having a sliding menu at the top that lets you select the set you are building? It would work similar to the motif slide bar, only with sets.

Obviously, they can update the crafting stations to include new sets because it is no issue for them to update it to include new motifs that you acquire. So why not have it work that way with the actual sets you can craft as well? Doing this would reduce the need to have several hundred crafting tables in your guild house, which could help reduce server load.

If they're worried about this reducing crown purchases or anything like that, rather than having to buy a new attunable table, they can make it so you can simply buy an upgrade blueprint that would allow you to craft the new craftable sets that are released.

And you will still want multiple sets of tables so that the crafting station doesn't get overcrowded by multiple people wanting to use them - you just wouldn't need 400 of them in order to be able to craft every set.

Just a suggestion. I definitely think its one worth looking into. It's a net win for everyone IMO. Less space taken up in the house, less server load, less running around for players trying to locate the right crafting tables.

I think new mega attunable stations of some sort would also be a great way to put life back into the master writ voucher economy. Right now, there is little demand for master writs because little demand for writ voucher items. Making mega attunables available would be a useful writ sink at the moment.

Something has to be done about Attunables. We are near to reaching the limit of having a presentable guildhall and all the attunables.
Enjoy the game, life is what you really want to be worried about.

Server load for homes should be near to nothing if all the items are downloaded to your pc for the first time. Also, as stated before, allow user-sided options for showing items.

Attunables is a joke. You should only need one Att per their respective types of mats (one for clothing, one for blacksmithing, wood, etc.). All that would be needed is the set added/validated to the Att station once you have that capability.

it is not a traffic issue, but a memory bug.

When you leave an area, the memory it consumed has to be freed, so that there is place for new objects to be loaded.

Not every place you leave clears the memory correctly, for example Alinor. So there is not enough memory left to load all textures, and you get black objects (if you use the alinor wayshrine the game even will crash very often).

You can check it yourself by going to Alinor, then to a full decorated large house like psijic villa.

Remove 10 of the 700 furniture, and try to add them again. An error message will pop up, that the memory is exhausted (and wrongly recommend to remove furniture).

If you log out and then log in again, directly to the villa, you will NOT get this error, as you have not been in a memory leak error region like Alinor before.
