I've heard so many theories about this, but from what I see it seems completely random. Is this top 12 dps, 12 random people, what? Would be great if a dev could provide insight. If it's top 12 dps then how do healers and tanks go about getting loot while farming MB?

Houshiki✭✭✭✭Only top 12 damage dealers get loot. Tanks and healers essentially get skimped out of loot when a zerg is farming.1 -

'Top 12 Contributors' I would guess means the highest damage dealt/heals pumped out/damage taken. But in a fight that short it's much easier to hit the DPS/Heal target before the damage taken target.Quinnine | Tankblade | PC NA1 -
irswat✭✭✭✭I heard they changed the method for loot distribution since then. Pretty sure after 2017 it was 3% boss health to be eligible for a drop.0
