Nerien'eth Staff flame and flagpole

Anyone else find that the Nerien'eth staff placement on the back when it's put away seems way to high, it looks more like a flagpole,.And its also a pity the flame effect does not abide by the laws of physics and rise upwards when you have the staff horizontal ready for combat.
