Battleground queues are taking 15-45 minutes to pop (PC, US Megaserver)

As the title states, the BG queues for whatever reason are unusually long to pop for level 50.
This was occurring last night and continues to happen today.
I have tried queuing for random BGs and specific BGs, and I tried changing the default role from damage dealer to tank. None of those things seemed to make a difference.

I can firm the same issue last night and today - Spoke to several battlegrounds frequenters and they report the same. 45-1hr or more in queue and no queue pop so far today.0 -

✭✭I guess there is a queue to enter the queue. It happens mainly in the weekends when the population is increased. A lot of people complained for PvE queue not working properly too.Because I can!0 -

I queue BGs all the time.

johnebrown✭✭✭Well It was working earlier today - I got in in less than 10 min twice in a row and then suddenly It was an hour wait & then I gave up & retried for 30 mins & then gave up again & retried & then got in in 10 minutes. Strange, and irritating to say the least.
