Daily Calendar issues.... $$

So last month I was set to get 100k gold. This was my first month playing and I was excited about that as it's a great start for me. Then I missed a login.... so I missed out on 100K gold!.. -_- Now this month I have missed 2 logins (by 8pm EST for me each day) and now I missed out on another 5K Gold. Not as big of a deal, but I wonder if they would consider some sort of grace period so that the daily login rewards still count. Working full time and having lots going on in your life is prohibitive towards a daily login sometimes. Anyways... thought I would put that out there as I am just frustrated with it. When I lost the 100k I did not even know by what time each day that I had to be logged in by before the clock reset.

Back when they started the whole Daily Login thing, people complained about missing the Big Prize because they missed a couple days. So ZOS switched the Main Prize to be around the end of the third week, with the remaining week usually just being some gold or AP.

So, they already changed it to be "friendlier". They're not likely to do more.


(and looking at last month's calendar - yeah, the 100k was on the 21st day.)

As mentioned above, the "big" prize is typically given in week 3. You didn't miss one day. You missed a whole week by the sounds of it.

There is already a grace period, @guitarbilly.

If you miss one (1) day, you can still pick up the prior day’s daily reward and current day’s. After a full 24 hours, however, the prior day’s reward is gone.

But as mentioned above, the 100k gold was on the 21st of the month ... so you missed more than “a few days” for that to have happened.

I am on PC on NA. Yeah I bought it after the month had started so I was already behind, but then I missed a login and missed it. Thanks all!

There also seems to be a bug where you can miss it even when you don't, you log in everyday and claim everyday and yet 1 (or 2) still greyout at the end of the month. Had it happen twice to me now.

But if you actually miss the logins then unfortunately there's nothing you can do about it (although there's nothing you can do about it if you get the bug either come to think about it).

Most things reset at a fixed time for all servers, so your "today" might already be the server's tomorrow, especially since the times are all over the place:

For login rewards, undaunted pledges, group finder rewards and fences, the day switches at 10 PM EST
Daily quests reset at 2 AM EST

Then there are cooldown timers that start when you last did the activity.
Horse training and some event-drops are on 20h timers, other events use 24h timers.
Finally, Enlightenment is given every 24h from the moment you reached level 50 on your first character.
