Returning player questions

Hello everyone

I have not played ESO for 3 years now and started to kind of miss it. Problem is my account is on EU server, while I have currently live in California, US. I am a ps4 console player.

There are few questions to address that would help me get a better understanding if I should come back and create a new account for NA

1. First is, will I get a high ping playing on EU server being in NA?

2. How satisfied people are with the game in general?

3. At what state is PVP?

4. How good are Necromancers? Played all classes, except this

5. What is the number one problem the game currently has?

6. How well populated is the NA PS4 server and the game overall?

7. At last, did ESO add a load out feature (instant gear/skills swap) for console players? This is something I have long advocated for believing it will make the game more dynamic snd interesting.

I'll answer the questions that I can.

2. Not really satisfied. Maybe the questers don't mind, but so much of the game is wonky or unplayable.

3. The last time that I went in there a few months ago, myself and a friend wandered into a scuffle out in the field between like 20 people. Most of them were just standing there, and no one could really can anyone because skills just didn't work. We tried, in vain, to do something, but the game just wasn't having it. I haven't been back since.

4. They're still needed in endgame content, and I hear stamcros are decent in pvp. They make excellent support roles...when their skills work.

5. It depends on who you ask. As an endgame trials person, some of them (trials) are barely hanging on, in terms of functionality. Pvpers will probably say lag, random loading screens out of nowhere, desynchronized attacks, etc. They keep trying to change things that no one asked for, like reworking sprint and block, and subsequently break like 5 things in the process.

6. It's not too bad. Zones are sectioned off by "instances", so not everyone is going to be visible to you.

7. No, we're still missing many quality of life improvements.

Possibly ~350-400ping

2. How satisfied people are with the game in general?
Not at all, do NOT recommend.

3. At what state is PVP?
Awful, broken, doesn't work. Worst its ever been.

4. How good are Necromancers? Played all classes, except this
Pay 2 win class, theyre a god.

5. What is the number one problem the game currently has?
Performance with failing performance patches.

Hi there!

1. You will probably have a higher ping playing on EU from the US, because it is like this the other way around. Speaking from experiance.

2. Right now ZOS is changing a lot of stuff ingame, so it feels more like a construction site.

3. See above, PvP is the biggest construction site atm, they are testing and changing skills, sets and other stuff left and right to make some progress with the bad performance especially in PvP.

4. They are fun to play, but you have to really try it for yourself or watch some vids on youtube

5. I'd say performance, in PvE and PvP

6. I think they are both very well populated EU and NA

7. No, nothing
