Dungeon queue experience

Imagine queuing up with a new player who is level 35 because you wanna show him how dungeons are in this game and somehow you end up in wayrest veteran and the 35 dude cant even enter the dungeon...

I assure you, that from the 5 times it put me in a vet dungeon when I queued with my low level, did I not even have the option to queue for random vet.

Imagine the annoyance of the Vet players who had to put up with him.

I dont mind 1 newbie carry , but when both DPS are new it KILLS me.

It is not possible to queue for anything veteran when one player in the group is below lvl 50. What OP mentioned is a bug in the GF that has been reported in the forums multiple times recently.

The unfortunate thing is I do not see any of the threasd in the Dev Tracker so we have no reason to think Zos is looking into this.

I suggest everyone that sees what @frontend has experienced report this in-game and here in the forums. When reporting it there is some required information like server, platform, the time it occurs, and the character name involved. Zos will not chase a needle in a haystack. Hopefully @ZOS_GinaBruno or @ZOS_BillE or one of their sidekicks (superheroes often have sidekicks) can give us some feedback that Zos is looking into such matters.

But they don't have to put up with him. My 2nd account I was on a below 50 level character and selected a specific normal dungeon I wanted to run to get the undaunted points. I then joined the queue and when the group formed it loaded the vet version of the dungeon. Because I wasn't high enough level to have access to vet content I couldn't enter. I looked at the group finder to be certain and only option I had was normal. I couldn't queue for a vet dungeon if I wanted to. My only option was to drop group and take the penalty. It left the group without a healer.

It's not even a vet dungeon either, it's the group screen saying it's vet - and not letting any low level players in.

This has been happening quite a bit lately. Yes, it's bugged.

Does it happens for people who are <cp 300 in dlc?
Or for players above 300 cp queuing for normals?

Yes people do mistakes for the last one so it can be hard to know if they selected wrong or it was this bug.

@idk That's so weird. But it explains why I've seen the random sub-300 player in things like vet MOS. Heck, I saw a level 36 in there once, right before I bailed that random group

Ok so it affect <cp 300 in vet dlc too.
Done plenty of normal dlc on +810 and had none vet modes nor had any below lvl 45, all vet dlc has been guild groups.
Keep posting errors as it make it easier to track this.

And yes people posting an 404 error on is no information.

It happened to me also. I solo queued for daily normal random as dps. I was leveling new toon and was lvl32. It took about 30 min for queue to pop and I ended in group with high cp players in vet blackheart haven. Ofc it didn't port me into dungeon. Others we all in and going like wtf. I tried to port to them but didn't even get any message like instance full or cant queue for vet etc, just nothing. Went to wayshrine and tried to port in, same thing. Then I told them to kick me because I've heard if kicked you dont get the penalty. But no. They kicked and I still got 15 min penalty ffs. So I had to wait and queue again for 30 min.
It took me hour and 15 min to get into dungeon + time to complete it with other low levels. So hour and 45 min just to get daily done. Nice dungeon experience for new players indeed. Zos fix the damn gf already.

Going into a vet dungeon to find you have 3 people. Ask the crown to reqeueue for another person. Getting "Hi!"'as a response. Wait a couple minutes. Ask again. Get no response. Leave.

Farming Castle Thorn on normal and get fake tank and fake healer. Leave after first group of adds.

Other than those two I've had some pretty good pug groups lately.
