Daggerfall Overlook can you get on to the huge wall?

I was thinking of getting getting Daggerfall Overlook but only if get on to the huge walls next the tower. I've seen some old images of planks over the walls but nothing with people on the walls itself. Can I get on the walls? If I can't it will probably be a deal breaker.

I don't think you can tho I haven't tried recently but there's a back yard area and some land behind the house that you cant access you can easily make a walk way only to hit an invisible wall.

I also play on PC from time to time but I just wanna be left alone on there so sorry.

I hope not. Only thing I want to do is traverse the wall. I was hoping the invisible wall was behind castle wall stopping people from jumping off. To be honest the selling point of this house is the big beautiful walls (like helms deep). If I can't get on to to those walls then why bother getting the house. I know I'm asking a lot but can you or anyone else try to get on wall?

Just tested it, and there is actually an invisible wall. This is how far you can get (sorry for potato quality)

As the picture above shows there is a wall between you and the top of the wall. I have used planks to build a path around the courtyard and that invisible wall follows the walls of the fortress.

It is similar around the water but I was able to place planks and walk on them slightly beyond the slaughterfish.

Thanks guys! You saved me a lot of gold. It's a shame. I like Daggerfall Overlook, but for close to 4 mil I expect to be able get on the high walls and defend the castle (or pretend to). I am going to look at Hunding's Palatial Hall. It's a beautiful place that cost considerably less, and If I remember correctly you can get onto walls surrounding the house. Hunding's Palatial Hall also has beach front property.

P.S. I visited an open house Hunding's Palatial Hall and I was able climb a latter to back wall.

I just bought Hunding's Palatial Hall. It's a great home with a beautiful views. I can walk on the back wall with no problems, but they put an Invisible barrier on the front wall. Now you can walk on part of the wall, but get stopped at a certain point. ZOS just put the invisible wall just a little bit further back. On my Cyrodiilic Jungle house I have a platform bordering the gate. I can see the town but if I try to jump off the invisible barrier stops me; That's how you implement an invisible wall. ZOS seems to take the sledgehammer approach to any problem.

You can actually get underneath Daggerfall Overlook and wander around quite a large distance away, going from beneath the water and into the surrounding hills. I have done it and have screenshots.

It looks like the NPC's can traverse the front wall despite the invisible barrier. This works particularly well on homes where the walls are not too high. I tested this on Hunding's Palatial Hall and it worked like a charm. Right now I am using the banker, however when the guard houseguest hits the crown store I will be using him. Come on Bethesda bring out the houseguest.1nxjx55w9jzs.jpg

I need to correct myself. You can get on front wall of Hunding's Palatial Hall, however you have to hop from spot to spot. There is no proper walking on the front wall, but it's better then nothing.

I remember you used to be able to go from underneath Daggerfall Outlook, up the coast, and all the way into the city of Daggerfall, and wander around a shell of the town buildings. It was fun, but odd. They’ve patched that particular gap in the invisible wall.

That castle is a big disappointment to me. Nearest landscape just one of the best in ESO. But you can't see it from such expensive "overlook". On other hand you can see almost entire zone including town from Dawnlight Palace

It's the wall that attracted me to Daggerfall Overlook, but also the wall stop me from buying it. Aside from the tower the wall blocks the best views. That's not a problem if you can walk on it, but the invisible wall stops you from doing to that. The only other view is the ocean, but without an island to break up the monotony it's pretty underwhelming. The Dawnlight Palace is one of the best looking homes in the game, but it cost real money and I'm not there yet.
