Some days I'm ashamed to be American, but I want to assure you that we are not all like that.
I would report any such thing, and will if I see it. So far I've tended to really enjoy PC NA zone chat. Mostly.
This is a problem that already has a solution. Just use the ignore option.

But what if I want to be a follower of Uncle Sheo?

Pretty sure some people have run out of Ignore slots. Max is 100. There've been forum posts asking for that limit to be expanded but so far I haven't seen ZOS say anything about that.
100 seems like a lot but clearly it can add up and you have no idea if people have left the game so you don't know when to take them off the list to make room.

LOL, go ahead! I mostly say it because it tends to confuse people enough that it derails the conversation.

I mean that's kind of the whole point of this topic. That real world politics are being put out in the game in zone chat.
IDK how many other zones this is happening but [snip] trolls have invaded Auridon Zone Chat and it has gotten very disturbing. There's a few people in particular that are saying things I won't repeat and have reported them but something needs to be done.
Never seen anything like this in all my years of playing.

Yeah how about doing something about the politics issue in the game??? Editing the forum is not particularly helpful.

Yeah, I mean they edited the title post to take out the very mention of the real world politics that the person is complaining about cause mentioning real world politics is against rules...but talking about people going on arguing real world politics is against the rules then and you can't mention what it is because it's real world politics even if you're only mentioning what it is so people know what you're talking about.....seriously ZOS...You need to get your priorities straight.

Please Stop. Harassing the mods will not accomplish anything either other than having the thread closed and the issue forgotten. I think we all know exactly who is the subject of discussion despite having to dance around the name like Voldemort. It will only evoke more of the same trolls when you call their names.
