Broken Group Finder

Are zos aware that 90% of the time low level players search for a "random NORMAL Dungeon" using the group finder function yet for some amazing reason the game seems to think I am A) of high enough level to access a veteran dungeon which im not even level 50 yet so can't and then blocks me from searching for another dungeon for 15minutes for a fault with the game that is not our faults.
If yous know great if not now you do and anyone else having the same issue.

The funny thing is that the "vet" dungeon you can't port in because you're not max level is actually normal, it says so on the map and the difficulty is definitely not vet, BUT the group screen for some reason says it's veteran and won't let any low level players in.
I've been levelling characters / farming gear lately through dungeons and this bug happens to me at least twice a day on the regular basis, and I've been on both sides of this - both as a person on a CP character who got in and can't get any replacement for the low level members that can't port, and as a low level that can't port in, leaves/gets kicked and has to wait through the bloody penalty.
Yeah it may be fun to duo Vaults of Madness with a tank and a healer, but repeatedly sitting through a penalty you got because the GF bugged out is more than annoying.

Happened to me yesterday.

Made a new tank - Level 10 searched for a normal random dungeon.
Got thrown into a vet dungeon - couldn't enter it for obvious reasons.

Asked the group 5 times to please kick me so I could re-que

They finally did

Still got 12 minutes penalty lol

Their dungeon finder is currently broken just like their horses with stamina issues and their performance problems.
What else is new.

This happened to me as well. Queued for a random normal on a level 40 and got put with a vet dungeon group. i just left the group and logged off

Yep, been happening to me repeatedly now that I'm leveling up again on PC. It's pretty ridiculous, think it happens at least once every other day? I finally hit CP again but not looking forward to going back for other characters later. 🙄

Well this along with

-not getting notified that your "Number" has come up, so not responding and then "someone has refused" (which did not happen)

-being stuck in a loading screen for so long that you miss the notification if/when it actually happens

-whole group being dumped into vet when we asked for Normal (and vise versa)

-having an entire appropriate group queue for a dungeon and ..... 5 min.... still waiting....WTH

Yeah, I would say the Dungeon Finder could use a little love.

Just had this happen to me today as well. Very frustrating. The queue for DPS is long enough as it is. Sucks big time when you finally queue and you can't actually do the dungeon.

I haven't had much trouble lining up for normal specific dungeons to do pledges.

Yeah there is some serious weirdness with group finder. Mostly one person being added to group but not transported to the dungeon. The only thing to do is kick and get a new person.

Another thing I don't like is if I port in after 1 or more bosses are dead, BEFORE I got credit for the kill but now it seems like it doesn't give credit and you have to do it again. But then the other day I ported in literally just before the last boss and got credit for all bosses and the quest. Totally inconsistent

Had the weirdest thing happen the other day. We were waiting on a healer for a boss fight. And we saw an image flashing in and out of someone run right past us, go right to the boss and start fighting, then just as I was about to say 'WTH are you doing', they disappeared. They were still connected to group but their toon was gone like when someone is on wrong server. They couldn't port in, so logged off and we got our 3rd healer and finished.

I love this comment. And it is soooo true.

Yesterday, aside from the "queue as a healer, no immediate group, clearly something is wrong, wait 5-10 min anyway, (I was having fun farming), leave queue, re-queue and in group within 3 sec.

And the ... "join the queue with buddy - one of us is either healer or tank, one gets notified, the other doesn't, and it fails due to claiming that someone didn't respond" issue.

There was a new one (new for me)... me and buddy queue for vet such and so (daily), land in dungeon, one other person. Waiting for 4th. ....waiting.....other person says that the dungeon finder didn't pull the person in, turns out that despite that person being 23rd level (hint: NON vet) AND the leader of their 2-person group who had actually queued for the dungeon AND (according to our group list) the leader of this newly made collective 4-person group...they couldn't come into the dungeon because it was vet.

Oh for ... pete's sake.

And that was just one day of fun with the Dungeon Finder.

This still keeps happening to me daily on lats I'm leveling, both that it thinks its vet dungeon, taking forever to find a dungeon when we're in a FULL group, queue popping but not showing to some people etc -_-
