Bug or no?

In BG yesterday i was playing with my DK equipping Skoria, Redmountain ,Ophidian Venom. When i die and my dots still on the person ( i assume it causes this) my sets proc.

Like 2-3 times i was lying dead on the ground and the enemy player who still around me and (again i assume) has my dots on him gets hit by skoria meteor or red mountain proc which kills him and giving me the point lol.

Nope, it's not a bug at all! Debuffs you apply to a target remain active till they expire, and they can proc the sets even while dead. Only things that go away on death are abilities that you place on the ground or yourself.

4 years but i learnt that today. way too funny though i wonder what they thought when they saw that.

Except for the bow ult - ballista. I've killed more than one player with it after I died until around 6 months ago when I changed morphs.

I stick around to watch Sellistrix knock enemies down after they kill me. Gotten a few revenge kills too.
