Returning player already sick of bugs

Started playing ESO in 2014 and loved it for years. Only recently did I stop because I had a child. Now I'm in a place to be able to play and I want to grind antiquities but I am kicked to the log in screen with "an error has occured" literally every 5 minutes. My client is up to date, tried repairing from the launcher, and I have ZERO addons running. I guess I will not be returning to the game like I had hoped.
