The Blackreach Vanguard Curiass Weight Loss Program

In the grand scheme of bugs and issues and annoyances and weirdness for a game that, despite them all, I enjoy immensely, this particular one is, I fully admit, singularly unimportant. But I'm obsessed with it now.

A few days ago I stumbled across the Blackreach Vanguard chest style, and when i saw the curiass (the heavy version) I was enthralled. If you combine it with the Mercenary heavy legs (the armored skirt) it almost looks like a longcoat, and when you color the whole thing Thalmor Black it has this dusty, weather-beaten look that really makes you look like it's been around the world, and under it, more than a few times.

The only thing is that its... er... rather slimming.

I'm not sure exactly what's going on, other than when I add the style to an outfit suddenly my character looks like he lost thirty pounds from a rather severe heroin habit and got into adventuring because people asked him what he was doing, he said "chasing the dragon," and everyone misunderstood.

("This one does not know! He hopes the dragon does not find his stash.")

Anyway, it's weird and it's a weird thing to obsess about but having the heavy chest piece actually make your character thinner than the light and medium chest piece almost makes it look like a designer drew inside the character outline instead of over it, or something. I don't actually know how 3d art works. But I'm tempted to buy an appearance change token in the store just to see if I can work around it by making him fat. :D

    This one want pictures :)
Grinding just make you go in circles.
Asking ZoS for nerfs is as stupid as asking for close air support from the death star.

    Let's see if this works.

Here is an image of the character with the Blackreach medium chest piece:

And here he is with the heavy chest piece:

Assuming my website allows remote linking. It might not...

Looks like the medium one is very puffy while the heavy one inherits your character's standard dimensions. Its not like for example the Ebonheart Pact Heavy style which is effectively a corset on female characters that pinches their bodies.

It's definitely inheriting those dimensions, that's the problem. It's not supposed to be a skin-tight outfit! It's leather with a metal plate on top and leather bandolier straps over that. If we assume all those things, then my character has the physique of Christian Bale in The Machinist.

I have this style and its quite nice. I dont see the issue. Asking ZoS to mess with armour is a slippery slope (has flashbacks of censoring orc amours)
