Warrior Mundus Boon Being Toggled by IC Campaign?

I submitted an in-game ticket today after seeing that my Orc stamplar sometimes does not have her Warrior mundus stone active. At first I thought that it started with the update on Tuesday, but now believe that it may be due to the Imperial City event.

I have noticed that if the Warrior is not active when I queue for IC campaign that it is there when I get to my faction’s base, and when it is active before queuing that it is not there when I get to my base.

I have tried going to the Warrior mundus stone when it is not active but that does not fix it because the boon is assigned but for some reason does not show on my character sheet or in my character’s stats. I can see the weapon damage is lower when the Warrior is not active.

Sometimes fast traveling around in PvE areas a few times will get the Warrior to show up again, but as soon as I reach IC it is gone again.

Surely I jest and it is good you posted this in the forums Bug Report section since CS is backlogged. @ZOS_BillE or one of their trusty sidekicks can probably get this to the devs faster due to this thread.

I hope so. Doing IC with less weapon damage is not my idea of a good time.

I did not know when I submitted the in-game report what was causing it but I don’t think there is a way to update that info, and I didn’t think submitting another report would be helpful, just clogging up the pipe.

I suggest choosing a different mundus for the event. Also, note here if the different mundus works fine or has the same issue. You must conquer IC to save Hiro.

That is a good idea for testing, if I do I will note here the results.

Unfortunately I am lacking in weapon damage since I got Malacath’s Band and I lost the 5th piece bonus on my second set of gear.

I have another toon with Warrior mundus boon that I could queue up just for testing though.

Good idea as sometimes the bug affects some characters and not others.

Also, notes what server and platform you are on, what IC campaign, character name, and any other detail you can think of.

I think I have seen this on both the main campaign which is what, “CP Campaign” or something generic like that and the event campaign Ruby Throne.

I did bring my Redguard Dragonknight into the main campaign but she kept her Warrior mundus boon both entering and exiting. I haven’t done PvP with her in a long time though, I just couldn’t get a dps stamdk to work for me. She has been demoted to daily crafting writs.

My stamplar does all PvP and nothing else really other than daily crafting writs for metal, cloth, wood, and jewelry.

I did not take the time to set another mundus boon today for her as I was eager to get my tickets for the event.

I wondered if this bug might be related to the one that causes gap closers to not work, but I do not see the mundus boon change state when going through the sanctuary area.

UPDATE:

Also, on this toon the first time I log in to do daily crafting writs she has the mundus boon but the second time I log in to queue for IC she does not have it.

UPDATE 2:

At this point I am seeing mundus boon changes with login (possibly some unexplained delay) and possibly going through the doors from IC to the DC base. I see it with sometimes but not every time. Kinda hard to check my status effects constantly while fighting.

I suppose this thread will be buried and a fix will never happen. I will update if I see any more trends, but it’s hard to reverse engineer code while doing PvP at the same time.

I have tried to do some more observations and testing regarding this bug.

I looked at my gear and remembered that I recently added Malacath’s Band and wondered if it was causing the mundus to be intermittent. I switched back to the previous ring that I had used and the problem persists, though it is perhaps less frequent.

I am wearing two bloodthirsty rings in both cases, I have no idea if that is relevant.

I have switched from The Warrior to The Lady mundus but so far in a day’s worth of play I have not seen it inactive. The bug seems to be unpredictable so I will keep updating as I find more.

I have not received any feedback so far regarding my ticket, I hope I do not regret submitting it in game because I would really like to get this resolved.

Did you submit your ticket via /bug or /help?

I ask because /bug reports do not get any response, whereas tickets sent to Support get an automated email acknowledgment to which we have to respond to get a response. There is a way to update tickets sent to Support if you log onto the Support part of the website, but doing so may bump it back to the end of the line.

I’m pretty sure I used /bug. I know that doesn’t get a response but I was hoping by creating this thread and including all the details that I can I would get some response here.

I guess I feel like an in-game bug report will enable Support to have more info about the problem by looking at my save data or something. I don’t know if that is really true or not, though.

Another day today and The Lady mundus was active in both IC and Cyrodiil at all times.

UPDATE: After several days of The Lady working continuously I re-equipped Malacath’s Band and everything was alright for a few days. Then I switched back to The Warrior and so far it has shown on my character status screen reliably for the last few days. Perhaps it is fixed now but I have no idea what caused it in the first place.
